I easily utilize my trailer and various straps 30 or more times per year, and these are the best narrow straps I've ever purchased. The straps are rugged and the ratchets are easy to use. Here are a few tricks if you're new to using ratchet straps:--I find it a lot easier to roll them up after every use before stowing them in my trailer box.--I also find it a much, much easier to separate the ends and reattached them after I've thrown the long strap over the load. Once you learn how to quickly reattach the end it's so much more convenient than always trying to thread the strap with the heavy ratchet still connected.--Finally, a trucker taught me to always hook one bungy cord on every strap...this keeps tension on the strap and you will never find your load coming accidentally loose again.Great straps.

Watched a video on YouTube on how to operate tie down straps, since I clearly struggled with them during my early attempts and in using an inferior product. The video recommended SmartStraps, so I purchased this set and see why they were so highly recommended.I found these to be very high quality straps, with their large ratchets that make threading, tightening, and loosening much easier, and a longer length straps make them perfect for my truck's bed.

I bought these straps because I needed something heavy-duty to strap down my backyard theater move screen. We were using rope strung through the eye screws and then staked down, but with the winds we get down in the valley, our screen took off like a sailboat. We already own one set of SmartStraps but they are wider and they stay in the truck. These aren't as wide, but they still get the job done. Our screen hasn't moved an inch since we strapped it down. We just added 2 more eye screws and put one hook in each eye screw and then strapped each strap to a corkscrew dog tie out. These are the real deal! They are great quality. The ratchets are heavy-duty and easy to use. We have nothing negative to say about SmartStraps.

These sell for about double in the home centers. I first purchased less expensive ones and what a nightmare. They were impossible to release, etc. These release so easily, I'm still scratching my head as to why I didn't just spend the extra money to buy these first. I hauled cybex gym equipment from CT to upper Maine in the back of a pickup truck with the tailgate down, they didn't even need to be readjusted the whole trip. When we arrived to deliver the product, they came right off. Highly recommend.

These are without a doubt the best small strap that I have ever bought. The frame and gear tensioner are sturdy and easy to use. I will definitely buy them again to replace some of my flimsier straps.

These are excellent and well worth the price. We use them to attach a 52 foot diameter circus tent to inch diameter, five foot long steel stakes that are driven in the ground. They've never failed or broken. We only replace them due to UV breaking down the flexibility of the strap portion, which takes about two years of constant exposure. Under normal use, these will last much longer than that. Cam assembly handles are aluminum. Loop option makes them adaptable to applications where just a hook on both ends doesn't work.

Recieved these new and seems like one of the starps is coming apart already. They came out of the box just like shown in the picture.

These straps are just what we needed for our 20'x30' camping tent. It was designed for ratchet straps to hold down the 4 corners and these worked great. The tent went through a large storm with a lot of wind and rain and these straps kept it right in place. It is so nice to have peace of mind that the tent will be a good shelter in storms and just on those really windy days. They held without needing to retighten them and the bright orange color keeps people from running into or tripping on them which is always a big concern when staking a tent.
