This product is awesome! It's the perfect size for a laptop and mouse/pad... the handle is helpful as well so transport... and, I love the color!

This one is my second of these lap boards. The first one lasted a long time, but the cushion eventually came apart. I think it can be repaired, and I might do that eventually. As it is, I wanted to get a new one until I get around to making repairs on the old one. This device is useful enough that having two is fine with me.People either will or will not like the mint green color. To me, the color is fine, but I could be happy enough with most colors. My previous one was black. I would have ordered black again if it were available, but this mint green is fine.The surface will wear a bit where one's mouse moves over the surface. If someone is really picky about that issue, then one should just order a second lapboard or buy some kind of touchpad. Mine is also showing a bit of wear at the spot where my wrist sits on the edge. I'm a little heavy-handed, so maybe others won't see this wear. My heavy-handedness is probably why I have a little wear in the spot where my mouse rests.This is a good, solid, does-what-it's-supposed-to-do product.

Very impressed by this product!! It is made of wood and has a cushion on the bottom that you can take on or off with velcro. This product has made my computer heat up way less and it was a great price for what I received. The side can fit my 16 inch laptop and a mousepad perfectly. It isn't super slippery but sometimes my computer does slide if I am on an angle.

I ordered this lap desk because I like to use my laptop on the couch, but it isn't good for the screen which is broken. I got it today, and it's working out well so far. Here's what I think:PROS:-laptop doesn't side at all, but mine has little grips on the bottom.-plenty of space for other items like a mouse, small notebook, etc.-cushion is comfortable on my legs-lightweight, and nice handle-cushion is velcroed to the bottom, so can be cleaned easily.CONS-it stinks really bad. It smells like paint thinner, and it's giving me a headache. I'm sure this will fade, but yuck.-The color is a little off from the picture, definitely more of a lime-mint green (doesn't bother me much, but if you wanted the light mint, it might bother you).-Velcro doesn't seem very strong, and if you take it off too many times, it might wear out the Velcro.That's about it! The reason I took away 1 star is mostly for the bad smell because it really smells like something that can't possibly be good for you... And the inaccurate color is a little letdown, I didn't really want an 80's green haha, but I'll live :).Overall, this will serve it's purpose just fine. I think it's a teensy bit overpriced, but when comparing to others on Amazon I think it's not terrible.I tried to capture the color in pictures, but it's hard with a cell phone, and the room is a bit dim (rainy day). I hope you can tell :)

This fabulous lap desk fits my 15" laptop perfectly with enough room on the side for a small mouse pad and my mouse.It is a soft mint color. While it does show dirt, the light color makes it is easy to spot where in the room my computer is!it is very sturdy, light and easy to clean with a soft cloth.I will be buying another when this one deteriorates down the road or if my kids need one.

I work full-time from home as a writer but unfortunately can't always sit at my desk due to back pain, fibromyalgia, and various other illnesses. I'm a disabled person, but not so disabled that I can't work, so I ordered this to try and make working from the couch a little more bearable (and to prevent wrist pain/further back pain from leaning forward when resting the computer on my legs). I'm not sure why I put it off so long!This is a super simple, sturdy lap desk and it provides a nice smooth surface for my laptops without being heavy or unweildy. It slips pretty easily under my coffee table for storage when not in use and the handle makes it easy to move from that spot. It's wide without being unweildy and is a really nice size for both my 11" Chromebook and 13" Windows laptop (with extra space on the sides and back).I didn't have any issues whatsoever with smell or heat. The only caveat is that this seems to be solid wood on the top and thus a LITTLE bit heavy (compared to the plastic and microbead lap desk I previously had), so if you have wrist pain or trouble lifting items (as I sometimes do), you may want to have somewhere to leave it out and only move it a little bit vs. lifting it up from the floor or inside a closet. But the sturdiness and extra space for a notepad, my water bottle, my wrists, etc. is worth it for me.

This thing is great. The color in the picture is very true to the actual color of the product (I got mint). I was expecting it to be a bit shinier, but I'd say it's a bit more matte than the picture makes it look. I can't tell if it's plastic or wood, but the table part feels very nice. It is a bit slippery, so when I tilt the desk a little too far my computer does slip slowly (I have a Macbook Pro, which slips on most surfaces). The size is great, not too big and not to small. The pad on the bottom is a bit slanted (it goes from about 0.5 inches thick closest to the tummy cutout to 2 inches thick closest to the handle) which is a nice touch. The pad is pretty firm, which allows it to stay cool for a while, as it's not wrapped around your legs to collect body heat. The pad does come off with velcro, which looks a bit "cheap" on both surfaces, but that's alright since I don't really plan on removing the pad. The handle is a feature I never knew I needed but definitely did. The tummy cutout is a really nice touch, too, and makes it very comfortable in the lap. I like to sit criss-cross applesauce wherever I am and this lap desk remains comfortable. Really couldn't have asked for more!
