Dr Butler Portable Parachute Nylon Fabric Travel Camping Hammock (Dark Green&Brown)

With a lot of nylon hammocks out there now its light, strong, and packs up nice and small. When I initially opened it there were a few loose threads but which concerned me but they were only in aesthetic areas and easily trimmed. The seams are triple stitched and seem quite secure. I've only used it a few times but feels similar to my grand trunk hammock, maybe a little thicker which gives me a sense of security on the weight limit.The description says it could possibly hold two people but this is definitely a singles hammock; it's not as wide as a double.

I've always wanted a portable hammock for backpacking or on the fly relaxation at a park.I was very pleased with the manufacturing, this item seems well sewn and durable.It's as expected for weight and stuffs into a built in pouch.I'll be excited to try setting it up and see if the size is large enough to cocoon myself in!

This is a good light weight material that would be great for backpacking. While this is good weight wise, the material can rip fairly easily.

Received this today and am very impressed with the quality of the material it is made of. I think we will be enjoying this for a long time!

The Dr Butler Portable Parachute hammock was purchased at a discount in return for an honest review. This hammock is light-weight, easy and fast to setup, as well as comfortable. When you lay down in the hammock the fabric folds around you, so you feel safe and not worried about rolling out. The thin fabric makes the hammock cool to lay in and Is still very strong. Once you are done you just push the hammock in to the bag that is seen in to the hammock. It is super easy and we love it!If you have a child with sensory needs this is a great product too! My son has Autism and he closes himself in to the hammock like a cocoon. He stays in there quietly for long periods of time and it truly calms him. So I recommend this as a sensory tool too.

I'll be honest - I was a little worried about this when I opened it. I loved how it was folded into itself with its carry pouch attached. It makes it SO easy to store, it takes up VERY little room, and it is really handy. But the material is VERY thin, and I was convinced it would NEVER hold me. So I obviously made my husband test it first. He got in, and he immediately sighed in satisfaction. He swore it was totally comfortable and really secure. I swung him a bit, and he was in heaven. Then my kids climbed up in there with him, and they were perfectly happy, as well! They loved it! I kept checking the seams to see if they were stressed, but all was as it should be. I also checked the ropes to be sure they were holding, and again it had NO problems. I FINALLY got in myself, and everything was still great.Yes - the material SEEMS cheap and unsecure. But we honestly have had no problems. It is a great product to take camping, but it's also great for the back yard.I received this at a discount in exchange for an honest review.
