I have to have it.
I live in Florida and had nothing but sand. Not only do I use it for my plants, I use it in the chicken dig and they love it.

Great for growing wheat grass for my cats
I wanted an inexpensive way to grow wheat grass for my cats since I no longer wanted to buy some of the other products out there geared specifically for them such as Pet Greens Garden Wheat Grass Self-Grow Kit. I read a bit online on how to do this and folks recommended using peat moss so this is the product I found and it has worked as good as I expected it to. With it, I also purchased GladWare Entree Containers with Lids, 5-Containers and Bob's Red Mill Wheat Berries, Soft White, 32-Ounce (Pack of 4) to create my own cat wheat grass kit.I recently tried out my experiment out and it worked perfect! I highly recommend this peat moss for growing wheat berries.

so far so good...
I do not have much of a green thumb, but this peat moss has definitely served my purpose (reptile/amphibian habitat). So if you're looking for an additional variety of natural home environment substances for your critters that require a higher humidity in their habitats, consider this one. :)

No Insecticides or Toxins
I ordered one bag of this organic peat moss. It allowed my crickets to lay eggs and have healthy babies. It absorbs and distributes water very well. Approximately 1 inch of peat moss in a shallow plastic container was sufficient when watered lightly every day.

Perfect
This came in perfect condition and was very clean. I'm not sure about some of the negative reviews I've seen, since this is such great quality. I had to pick out a very small amount of mulch, as is very common in any bagged soil, but it was less than some of their competitors that I've used. I mixed this with the same company's perlite for a potting soil for new seeds. I'm very happy with the product.

So soft and fluffy!
Exactly what I needed to aerate the soil in my repotted fiddle leaf tree. I repotted it with this, perlite and good quality soil and am pleased on how light the soil is and how much improved the drainage is. First time using peat so wasn't sure what to expect but i plan on using this from now on in my plants. Good drainage is key to healthy plants especially fiddle leaf figs!
