Siesta Board Book: Bilingual English-Spanish

I love this book. It introduces colors in a cute story line. It short and cute! Have already recommended this to friends.

This was for a baby shower for a bilingual friend. It is great that it is in English and Spanish! My children also love this book!

I am happy with my purchase

I checked this out from my local library, and I might look into buying it. We've enjoyed reading it so many times already. Not only does it go over colors and what a little one might need for a nap, but the illustrations provide topics of conversation like the little teddy bear who is joining in with all the activities. Highly recommend!

This book was used in a parent training session at a local Hispanic speaking community. The target audience was for parents of children ages 0-5. Each family was given a copy of the book with a presentation as to how to use the book with a variety of ages. The organization offering the training is a local initiative to have children ready for school when they begin their kindergarten experience. Many of these families are unable to afford preschool education for their child or not aware of how they can qualify for tuition assistance. Through this training, with the book being one of the focuses, our Ready for School Initiative has reached out to one of our target audiences.

This is such a lovely book. The illustrations have a lot of depth and you can point out many things to young children or ask them to find them on each page. The colors are rich and vibrant, you can follow characters from room to room (we enjoy tracking the cat), and there is so much to notice and enjoy. The story is very sweet--all about a brother, sister, and teddy bear collecting treasures from around a wonderful house to take with them for a siesta.

Like Fiesta (by the same duo), my baby can't get enough of this book. She makes me read it to her over and over and over again. I just wish there were more books by these two.
