Benefits are well worth what u pay
Makes running pex so easy, so and it's benefits are a great reward. Works well no leaks. Make sure u get this one it comes complete with fittings, others are 5 or 6 dollars less and dont have the connections necessary to complete the work. U will need the 3/4in fittings for inlets

Easy to Install
Product arrived as advertised with all parts included. I Installed Manabloc with the option to supply water using top inlets only. I needed to order the supply connectors for the supply inlet on top as instructed on Manabloc advertisement. I also needed to order the bottom supply cap as my example did not require this water inlet. My installation was a little tight due to where my PEX pipes were planned to go into the Attic and also staying at least 18" away from water heater as instruction indicated. First I placed the manabloc where I planned, Second I ran each of the hot and cold lines into the attic. Then I began to make the water supply connections into the Manabloc. I then made the multiple crimp connections to connect the attic supply PEX lines into the Manabloc. Once I completed all the Attic PEX line connections into the Manabloc I opened the water supply Cold and Hot lines into the Manabloc to test for leaks. I tested at this point for all connections made just into the Manabloc before doing any further work. I heard the Water filled Manabloc and confirmed that there were no leaks. While still in the garage area where the Manabloc was installed, I finally went through the connection of each of the Attic PEX lines into the Manbloc and then I finally spent the one full day in the Attic to make the 13 PEX connections to each of the copper lines going to each of the water fixtures. My plan was to cut off the copper existing lines before they go into the wall from the attic to fixture and solder crimp connections to allow me to crimp the PEX to each of the copper fixture lines. Once completed, I opened each of the water lines from the Manabloc one at a time and verified that there was no "water leaks" to the soldered/ Crimped connections. Complete installation took 3 days from start to finish. I would recommend this product. Very happy with final results.

Pretty slick
I have a project going where I'm remodeling my downstairs bath and laundry room. After ripping out all the sheetrock I found that the main plumbing connections were in one of the walls. "What a great idea to install one of those newfangled water pressure balancing systems!", thought I! So I researched and decided on the Viega 50143 and ALL the additional PEX piping, tooling, fittings, etc. This was a learning experience for me as I had never worked with this stuff before. Here’s what I found: The Viega was easy to install. It came with all the fittings needed, a template for drilling holes in the studs for pipe routing, labels so you don’t get lost (what’s installed and what’s not installed), and pretty thorough directions. Be gentle. It’s plastic and I could sense that it would not take much manhandling to damage it. Now that it’s in and working I found that we can take a shower upstairs and run the washer at the same time. Pure bliss. The labels are kind of cheesy and keep coming loose. Think I’ll slap a piece of packing tape over them so they quit falling off. I found that the PEX and Viega installation was just as time consuming as copper, but much more forgiving. I like it. Anyone wanna do the sheetrock for me?

Complete
Really disappointed in this item it did not come complete with all of the pieces necessary to complete the water hook up. It’s an additional 60+ dollars to get the parts could have bought something less expensive that had all of the items enclosed in the package.

Amazing item
This is an amazing item. I love that you can shut off water to one line instead of the whole house. It's durable, comes with a key to turn water off and on. Comes with labels to label each water line.
