It was ADOLF HITLER who added FLUORIDE to the water given to prisoners of his camps to make them brain fogged and dociIe and too weak to fight.I have been a follower of Dr. David Brownstein's books especially on HYPOTHYROIDISM--as many others available at Amazon. I stumbled onto Bette Dowdell book looking for a quick condensed version I could actually buy a few copies of to hand out to family. While it does not contain all the referenced studies upon which she writes her statements...the facts are still the facts !Bette has gone down the road of FLUORIDE POISONING and she shares her knowledge because she is brave enough to share it and has a concern for so many that swallow water to be hydrated yet are swallowing a time-released, slow toxic poison that used to be barreled up bound for a toxic waste dump at high price to the ALUMINUM industry and others.This will put together a long list of Bette's SYMPTOMS, WE HAVE SYMPTOMS, WE HAVE LOTS AND LOTS OF SYMPTOMS...and you will be nodding your head in agreement and the knowledge for you and symptoms of your family or friends... with the realization that FLUORIDE should NOT be in our drinking water...and then to wondering...how to combat the toxic onslaught...and how to get local water board to get rid of it.AND though she did not specifically say so...but what has become evident to me (via many other doctors and scientists that test or research) ..is....what is SCARY is that there definitely is a conspiracy of multiple agencies covering for business interests to the detriment of ALL our health...WHY?...to simply make you ill enough just to sell drugs/pills to the ill public...CREATED by FLUORIDE...and other toxins they close their eyes to known horrible side effects/diseases.**Yeah, I know...read that last section again.Let it seep in...Why else would Food & Drug Administration (FDA) suggest that towns over 1,000 must fluoridate water...originally at 1.5 or 1.2 parts per Million (PPM) to now down to 0.7 ppm as they are concerned about fluorosis of childrens teeth--YET STILL WANT FLUORIDE PUT IN WATER? Go GOOGLE fluorosis and while at it look at a photo of calcified peneal gland. (I will try to add photos to review).Why else would FDA mandate a label be placed on fluoride toothpaste to have a WARNING for recommended PEA-SIZED (or larger) if swallowed that one should seek emergency treatment or contact their POISON CONTROL CENTER --YET STILL WANT TO PUT FLUORIDE IN WATER?I could go on and on about the incongruous and mentally strange pathway to follow that is taken by our FDA, EPA...etc, or the American Dental Association (ADA)... to undermine the public health...KNOWINGLY ! What a simple concept...costs too much and not needed as natural CALCIUM FLUORIDE of earth--also called fluorspar-- already in water rather than the toxic/bio-hazard SODIUM FLUORIDE chemical version.Canada is soon to remove it and many other nations of the earth have banned it from being added to their drinking supply. They recognize it is a toxin, biohazard waste and besides that REQUIRES A PRESCRIPTION for ingesting in any form.Thank you Bette for your bravery to make this book to get into hands of parents, teachers, elected officials...that is a quick easy to read, make sense overview of cause and effects that puts a target on every person in this country -- if they live or visit a town bigger than 1,000 people.

I follow Bette Dowdell online with her "Too Pooped to Participate" newsletter. I've had thyroid problems since I was a young child, due to my thyroid being radiated during the experimental years of medicine in the early 1950's. After I read some preliminary information about the dangers of Flouride, and how it displaces the iodine in our bodies (which is necessary for the healthy function of the thyroid), I wanted to do further research on the dangers of Flouride.
