The texture of the outer covering is soft and comforting. Cord length is great because I can plug it in and sit or lay where I want to rather than finding a place to sit or lay right by an outlet. Large on/off button. The pad doesn't feel rigid so it can easily drape over limbs. The heating pad’s extra large size makes it more useful than regular size pads I have had in the past. The micromink surface is very comforting and I think it helps to distribute the heat more than other heating pad fabrics. The pad heats up quickly and the three levels of heat are very useful because sometimes I like warmth and sometimes I like heat. The information with the pad is good advice to avoid burns/blisters and yet get the best benefit. Thanks for a great product.

This heating pad is great! It's soft, heats up fast and is nice and large. Easy to use and works very well. I have to say that this is probably the best heating pad I've tried. Another plus, it's not super stiff and plasticky with a cheap cover. I love the size of it because I have chronic back pain and it covers a large area of my back. Unlike other heating pads I've owned this one distributes heat evenly over the entire area instead of being hot toward the middle and not as warm toward the edges. Highly recommend this heating pad!

Updated: This has worked greatly for what it’s intended to be for. The heat is good, and size is good. It still gives off that weird odor, so hopefully that goes away with more use...which most do. Other then that, it’s not bad at all. Prior review: By far, I’m glad it came and when it did. The box seems to come as it looked opened at one point. It might not have, but it was closed shut. It just doesn’t show a full closer to give the buyer a relief that it exactly brand new, even though it may be. It seems so, no stains or anything. But it does come with a smell. Probably just because of the product it is, or being new or maybe what it’s made out of. It heats up as directed and supposed to and that’s what really matters. So it works and I love it and it’s big to use for more then one small area.

The heat pad is really great. It's large enough to go across my back and very flexible and soft. The only issue would be that the place where the power cord connects can make it a little difficult to readjust the heat pad exactly the way you want it to be. It's not a huge issue because it is simple enough to work around it, but it is definitely the most annoying part of the heat pad. The temperature control is limited, with there only being a low, medium, and high setting. The heat pad heats up incredibly quick and the heat can get quite high, but after it reaches its peak it definitely dips down in the amount of heat it radiates. It still stays decently hot but sometimes I wish it would stay a little hotter. The temperature is controlled by a single button. This button is very large and pretty sensitive and each press cycles from off to high. Due to this, it's extremely easy to accidentally turn it on by just tossing it to the side, sitting on it, or just throwing a pillow over it, so it is important to unplug it after use or to put it somewhere where it won't accidentally be turned on. As expected from a decent heat pad, it does work to relieve some sores such as back pains from poor posture. It is a really good heat pad for the price. Highly recommend it.

I found the product to be effective, especially for back pain. The size of the pad covers the areas that I needed. The 3 levels of heat is simple and easy to use. I found the highest level to be more than sufficient to provide relief. The heating pad is soft and made of comfortable material. The bag that comes with it is useful for wrapping it up neatly and storing it when it's not being used. Also, the power cord was long enough to reach where I needed it on the couch which was a plus.

The first thing I noticed when I open the cardboard box from Amazon was the stench of fish that was disgusting. It definitely was disgusting and I would recommend throwing the box out and sanitizing the cord and throwing the pad and the little bag it comes with in the washer right away. It took me a bit to take the cord off but I figured it out you have to hold the pad portion of the plastics height and then pull the cord out and it came out nicely and the instructions say it’s machine washable so I machine washed it and let it soak for a while because the stench was so bad. After I got over the stench and had it soaking had a dry overnight I was able to finally use the heating pad for the first time. It does what it says it does and it has three heat settings and it plugs into a regular outlet no usb stuff. To me I have a lot of pain so the heat for me was not enough, the highest setting I wish was hotter but I’m also a special case. I gave it four stars because of the stench of fish I have no idea why that is needed but another reviewer mentioned it as well and due to the heat not up to my liking. It is nice in size and super fluffy and is a great relaxer type heating pad. If you’re looking for hot heat for gas like I’m using a normal heating pad for probably not this one. Update: I contacted owner and they sent me a replacement and there was zero fish smell. I washed it the same and the pad does get hotter then the last. This second pad works fantastic and now it’s 5 star

The heating pad appears to be very well made. It is not thin and wiry like the name brands or cheapo pads. Even the cord appears to be of a heavier gauge than the last 3 sunbeam pads that burned out on me. The soft cover fabric is nicely stitched and what is really nice is that it is not like other brands that make them removable. As that is so annoying to have the cover constantly sliding off. And since it can be washed if you by chance did get it dirty, well, I can't ask for more. The level of heating for each level is perfect for me. It allows me to use it for various aches and pains. Time will tell how well everything holds up. Though even that is subject to opinion as ppl use them differently
