Great quality, great price

Solid soft box I used as a replacement for my two-point lighting set up for auditions. I like that the lighting is adjustable. Gets the job done well. Only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is it's pretty flimsy and falls over often. I def put some counterweight on it to keep it standing, which isn't necessary with my other soft boxes. It's not a big deal just hang some minimal weight off the back, but since it's so light this shouldn't be happening. If the base stand was more wide, sturdier, improved it would be a five star product.

This light is incredibly bright, and easy to assemble and use. The provided remote works well too; however, the remote works with the installed lightbulb, which means, you have to open up the diffuser in order for the signal to reach the bulb. Kind of annoying, but not end of the world. The different temperatures of the light are nice and smooth, easy to use and adjust. The physical temperature of the light bulb isn't too hot. There is a metal heat sink on it to help with dissipating the heat; however, even being under that shroud, it hasn't gotten piping hot. I wish the power cord was a bit longer, an extra couple of feet would be incredibly nice and helpful. The light also comes with a bag. I'm not entirely sure why, as I haven't been able to figure out how to get anything back into it. Maybe I'll figure it out one day. Still happy with the purchase, it is plenty bright enough, large enough, and easy to use for its price point.

This set is awesome for the money. You have the option of cool or warm tone light and it has gradient options as well as dimness options. Great for a small photography studio or someone just needing a couple lights for youtube videos or maybe an actor doing self-tapes. My one gripe is that the tripods are kinda flimsy and you'll probably want sand bags to hold them down but you want those even with sturdy tripods so it's not that big of a deal. They are a little awkward to set up but what light isn't?

I am returning this. You get what you pay for! I know, everyone says that it's cheaply made, but don't expect a Broncolor at this price, so the make is not the issue. It's the operation. I bought the two light kit and each light comes with a remote. Each remote controls both lights and I mean both lights at the same time. You can't get these lights to operate independently, not even if you aim one remote at one light and the other at the other light. According to the directions, you can operate both lights from one remote and yes you can. Like I said, both at the same time and to the same degree of brightness. But, to add insult to injury, the diagram on the instruction sheet -- if you want to call these "instructions" -- shows a remote that is different from the one you receive, so good luck trying to decipher what all of the buttons mean. On and off work and the rest sort of work, but again all they do is the same thing to both lamps equally at the same time. You can change the color of the lights and you can make them go bright or dim. There is no other way to make one light stronger or weaker than the other unless you physically get up and move the light stand further away or closer. If you are a lighting ratio nut, this system is a different kind of nuts. Additionally, you cannot turn the lights off from the remote even though there is an off and on switch on the remote. The only thing you can adjust at the light, itself, is to individually turn the light on and off. I've been a photographer for a lot of years and use studio strobes. Constant light might be great for video, but not this set. And let me say this because a lot of reviewers complained about the remotes: There might be a kit that works beautifully. I just didn't get that one. I think I'd rather spend the money than fuss around with a bargain again.

The only thing I would suggest, is that the mount isn't the sturdiest, it's a little top heavy, so just make sure one of the legs is pointing towards you. It's super nice having the remote also, you can adjust the lighting if you need to. In addition, the kit's portability is a major plus. I can easily pack it up and transport it to different locations without any hassle. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to elevate their lighting game and achieve professional-grade results.
