Phoenix Gold Iron with Built-In Steam Generator & Ceramic Sole Plate Easy & Safe

Is so much better than the old cordless it replaced, I love the steam function, it is a bit heavy for my frail old arms after a while so gives me a good excuse not to go through too much ironing in one go. It isn't particularly heavy but I have sore wrists. heats up quickly. and the steam function button is amazing makes ironing so much easier. I probably get as much done with the extra steam function as I would with my old iron so the weight hasn't impacted much, its more a comfort thing, the water dispenser I find a bit difficult to open but again thats more a me problem.

Best iron ever just to replace with the same

My wife buys this one every time because it’s never let us down, always been a good iron and great steam.

Over the last ten years we've had three of these irons by this manufacturer. Though the flap were you pour the water in usually breaks off. However, we thing the product is still worth 4 Star, or we wouldn't be buying them. Come on manufacture fix the flap.

This iron is heavy compared to some I've used but that in my book is a good thing. I don't iron a lot these days but what I do do is shirts of really heavy weight 100% cotton that I used to dread doing as it took forever and I'd need lots of rests during but now it take me the same time to do 4 shirts as it did to do 1 and the results are better than I got previously. When you use the steam you'll have to fill the tank up fairly frequently but I don't find that a hassle. Some reviews said that it poured water out, try as I may I can't get it to do that so I'm happy as larry, also there were remarks about there not being a filler jug. Now this wouldn't be a problem and the iron takes 2 jugs to fill it but I did have a thought, my filler jug was lodged in the protective packaging and I wonder if the people without the jug just didn't see it in the packaging I nearly missed it, however I would say that an ordinary measuring jug works just as well, I put my jug in a safe place so have had to use the measuring jug method. I wonder where my safe place is lol, it'll turn up again. So in short I'm finding my new iron a pleasure to use.

Not a bad steam iron but having been used to using a steam generator which I prefer to this iron

I first purchased an Phoenix gold iron about 12 years ago and it's still going strong the only drawback the coating on the face of the iron as worn off which wasn't surprising I have been doing a lot of iron in over the years as a dressmaker this is the first Iron that Iasted for more than a year. It's affordable and Performance it's brilliant is very long lasting my old iron is still going strong

Bhe che dire, OTTIMO ferro da stiro: Per prima cosa dimezza i tempi di stiratura , riuscendo a stirare anche 2/3 strati di tessuto insieme (cotone);Inoltre ha molta potenza di vapore e basta 1 passata x ottimi risultati; Regolando la temperatura e grazie alla particolare piastra in ceramica stira anche le stampe sulle maglie senza rovinarle; Perfetto x stirare in verticale le giacche che sembrano uscire dalla lavanderia; Per finire é un po' pesante come ferro ma quando si stira NON SERVE ASSOLUTAMENTE FARE pressione per i tessuti ma scorre DA SOLO e ti stanca la metà. CONSIGLIATO!!!

Comprato per mia madre che ne aveva uno simile comprato da uno spot in televisione. Questo è identico in tutto e per tutto a quello dello spot che si è rotto causa cadute nel giro di circa un paio di anni. Mia madre ne voleva uno identico perché si era trovata molto bene, dice che il peso e la forza del vapore le rende molto più facile la stiratura. Ho provato a consigliarle altre marche, ma non c'è stato verso, fortunatamente qui su Amazon ne abbiamo trovato uno simile (cioè identico solo rebrand) . Il prezzo è buono, speriamo questo duri di più.

Il ferro in sé per sé fa il suo dovere...ma troppo pesante e consuma tanta acqua!

Acquisto come da descrizione, arrivato prima del previsto, ma purtroppo difettoso. Nonostante fossero infatti state seguite tutte le indicazioni, non erogava vapore. Contattando la ditta produttrice, sono stati disponibili e solleciti nell'invio di un secondo prodotto perfettamente funzionante. Ferro da stiro davvero ottimo. Consigliatissimo!
