This thing works good takes a little bit of experimenting to figure out exactly how to work with the radio waves but it has helped me fix many different electrical problems, it helped me find a broken wire one time that we could not Trace any other way, it's a good build too nice and sturdy

Very pleased with the decision to switch to a new brand. I always used ideal but after frying my 22yr old tone I found the price went up immensely. After buying a cheap tone that didn't work out of box I chose to try this one out. The tone works great! Chose this one bc the case is made for longevity of the product especially when put in a tool box stocked full. I use this professionally and would recommend all day long!

Worked good to find electric wire behind drywall to install a vanity light.

i’m using this to identify cables are already run in a house with cat 5E and coax even some 120 volt lines and it’s been working fine for that. I was noticing tone on two different lines in the basement and it was because the cat 5e cables were tied together with only two conductors for phone lines and this tool helped me identify that fact.very handy device to have. I’m glad I bought it and I know I’ll be using it in the future

Unit works well. I was able to trace the wires in an older boat quite well. Solid construction feels very well made. Be careful with the leads I can see them getting hung on something and breaking. Speaker is loud and you can hear clearly. Would recommend to the company to make them interchangeable like a few other styles I’ve seen. Other than that, great product.
