It really works and keeps your dishwasher inside like new. No other product works as well. Worth every penny and do it at least 1x year.

I purchased this several months ago, after having just used one of those "tablet" cleaners that goes into the soap dish (a sample that came with the DW). That product did an OK job, but left a fair amount of calcium buildup remaining on the DW surfaces. I figured I'd try a different product "next time" so I bought this and stowed it under the sink for several months until the next time the DW was starting to have buildup again. It's a little more expensive, but not a huge difference, and really, every 6 months it's hardly gonna break the bank.I just used this today, and MAN did it work wonders! The DW is gleaming, and there's not a trace of calcium visible anywhere. Just run it in an empty DW then recycle the can. I've put it into my Subscribe & Save items and I'll use it every 6 months or so. No need to ever try another product. This one works wonders.

Best cleaner for the interior of Miele dishwashers. Just pop off the cover and place the item in an empty Miele dishwasher. When done, your Miele will look like the day you had it installed. Smells nice too.

It does clean the dishwasher, but it is very expensive

I use all Miele products in my Miele dishwasher.The machine continues to perform really well.This is easy to use, but I tend to forget my schedule - I have taken to writing on the lid when to 'use by' to remind me to use it every few months.I also use the descaler (that can be used in the clothes washer, too).As most of us would say, we wish we could get things like this a bit cheaper.Occasionally, Miele sends a discount code.I'm also fortunate to have a close local Miele dealer.But the ones I've purchased through Amazon have all seemed to be fine - so it is great to have this option.

I use in my dishwasher esp when water collect in bottom and this clears it up . I use 3-4 times a year. Expensive but works

When I read the instructions for use, I found the spec sheet on Miele's website that documents the toxic contents of this cleaner. I am stunned. The product has a list of 22 documents/mentions from the EU, Canada, the state of CA and the EPA. Given that all newer washers hold liquid from previous loads in the bottom of the dishwasher, the contents of this cleaner could certainly end up on my dishes. I am returning it. I should have done more research on this before I ordered it. Miele is a company that should know better. Putting us at risk to get a shiny dishwasher is not my idea of good business practice.
