Just get it. I have many of these black lights that advertise showing cat urine, etc., and they do not work well or at all. This is not the case for this light. Best in class, hands down. It is sturdy and works a little too well, if anything. What I like a lot is the ability to use an extension to use three 18650 batteries for longer life, and it works just as well with the included two 18650 batteries. I had other 18650 batteries and use three in mine using using the included extension. The main use for me was detecting areas of carpet around the litter box that may need to be shampooed, and when I walked around the house, the results were amazing and yet disturbing. I am a clean freak, and this simply will let you see what your eyes don't. So if you want a truly clean house, this is a must :) PS. For those unfamiliar with NM values. Don't be fooled into thinking a higher value is better. Lower is better, depending on what you want it for. 375 is ideal as it is a more pure uv and does a better job detecting scorpions, pet stains, forensics, currency verification, and things like that. 395 is ideal for Halloween/party effects, glow in the dark, and casual use. This is an absolute BEAST! Super heavy duty build: very sturdy and strong, comparable to mag lite brand. UV is super bright, working even in “visible light” settings. But this thing SHINES in the dark ( 🤣 I’m so clever, aren’t I? 🤨🤷🏽‍♂️). Triple beam lights up all those secret bits and pieces you would normally never see! Be warned, you will be disgusted with yourself and your living situation when you see how much you don’t actually see! You may end up scrubbing every inch of every wall in your home after using this AMAZING UV flashlight. Battery life is pretty decent, and can be expanded to hold 3 batteries for extended usage. The two batteries and charger it comes with are generic but I have no complaints about their operation. I assume you could get more usage time by upgrading the batteries. All in all, I absolutely love this thing! Super heavy duty and super effective! I could not be happier with this purchase! And I have found an extra, unintended use for my UV flashlight: that it is very useful for finding tiny seed beads dropped onto the carpet! As much as I have hyped this up, I am still confident in my opinion and stand by my words 100%. When I received the Beast I was super excited. Unfortunately during shipping the unit was damaged and wouldn't work as it should. I reached out to the seller and they got back to me immediately (always a concern) and they were a pleasure to work with. They sent out the replacement and it arrived next day working perfectly as expected. The light is next level in power and perfect to use for rock hounding and IDing minerals and stone formations. I'm sure that I will find other uses as well after walking around my house and seeing things in a different light, no pun intended. I had used smaller cheaper versions without much success, the uvBeast V3 365nm really opened my eyes to the true power of UV and I know it will do the same to you. This is real Ultra Violet with a controlled wave length that will light up what others don't. I am 100% sold on this product and their customer support is the best in every way. This is a company I will do business with again and knowing if there ever is a problem they will make it right immediately and that is an added value that is as important as the product itself to me. Both are great!!!

The flashlight itself is great quality. Feels very sturdy, and it’s crazy big. It’s very bright and works to illuminate UV spectacularly! My only downfall is the battery type is really buried in the details of the listing. I found it easiest to click on the specifications, which directly states it needs 3 AA batteries, which I was thrilled for as they’re so easy to find. But that is NOT what kind of batteries it takes. It takes specialty sized ones, which wouldn’t be so bad if they lasted longer or if it came with 2 sets of batteries. They are rechargeable and a charger is included, but with only one set that means you have to wait between charges to use it again unless you buy another set or two. It also has an extension if you want to use 3 batteries, but again that requires you to buy more.

I needed a proper UV Flashlight to use in my business mainly to find leaks in Automotive air conditioning, I received the package and used it the same day. we were able to find a mysterious leak by just using this flashlight since UV dye was already in the system and found that the compressor seals are leaking. This flashlight was powerful enough to illuminate the dye all the way down there in an area you could never see. Excellent product.
