Those were perfect, so I decided to order some from Amazon
Just before this order, my friend brought fresh ones straight from France. Those were perfect, so I decided to order some from Amazon. The product I received was not as good as fresh ones. Despite "sell by" 06/26/2015 (product has shelf life of 195 days, so mine was pretty fresh), the chocolate had bloom (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chocolate_bloom) and taste had oil components. I guess storage temperature was out of normal range for such delicate product.

Tried this first when in Paris. Delicious chocolate, and I will keep it on my list of purchases. AMERICA, you need to make a chocolate like this. I only wish I had filled my suitcase with the chocolate instead of clothes.

They sold an old product and wouldn’t take a return.35$ What a disappointment!
Was so excited to get this special treat! A family favorite French dark chocolate!Only to be disappointed …. They were old! They lack the flavor I was so looking forward to. No returns? not really edible ….35$ in the trash.Disappointed!
