We purchased a Whatever Pan earlier in the year but had no occasion to use it until recently. The pan is excellent but we soon discovered that the handles, understandably, got very hot in use, hence our purchase of the silicone handles. They slip over the existing handles and make the pan easy and safe to use. Excellent!

These are great and do work but the fact that you need them to lift the pan because the handles get so hot I think they should be supplied with the pan.

Haven't used the pan with the handle covers yet but they seem to be good and fit very well. Best price offered

I bought these to go with my recent purchase of the Whatever Pan. They are definitely necessary as it would be very easy to forget and touch the metal handles of the pan, which become searingly hot. However while the silicon handles do provide some protection, they themselves become quite hot during cooking, which surprised me. Also they are quite loose fitting, so I feel they could slip off fairly easily. Finally they are expensive at over £8 for two small pieces of silicon. So in summary you do need them with the pan, but quality and value for money are doubtful. So catch-22 really.

Useful, but as others have mentioned you still need to use additional protection with them as pan does get extremely hot.

These are a must have for cast iron hot pot pots. Very handy to have, just slip over the handles. Invaluable.

I haven’t used these yet but I’m sure they will come in handy when using the pan. People should be aware they can’t be used when putting the pan in the oven.

I wasn't sure if I'd like them so I ordered one set. I have all sorts of pans with varies size handles so I wanted to know if they'd fit. They did. I really like these a lot. They fit all my pans. I love how they open up to fit my pan handles. However, they do still allow some heat to get through the handles BUT.... it won't burn your hands like an uncovered pan handle that are metal. So for me thats a win. If you need something these are nice. Inexpensive.
