Easy techniques anyone can do
Richard Nongard with another thoughtful and helpful book. As a hypnotist and hypnosis trainer there is always something to learn from one of Nongard's book. I always pick up words of wisdom, new suggestions, new techniques and especially with this book self-hypnosis.Some of the techniques are very simple classic hypnosis techniques. The reason they are shared in this book is because they work. I used the techniques of progressive muscle relaxation and autogenic training in inductions and layer them into suggestions as well so client's have skills to take with them. That is what is so important is this book is these are all techniques you can do yourself to achieve a hypnotic state.This book is detailed in the importance of being in the present moment and achieving a state of calm and relaxation so you can be more resourceful.This book helps you focus on what you want and that is exactly why many others should read it!

The SEVEN Most EFFECTIVE Methods of SELF-HYPNOSIS by Ricahrd NongardI was excited to see that Richard Nongard had written a book on self hypnosis.He has done a fantastic job of not only explaining several highly successful methods of self hypnosis but also showing how each method can support and add to the next.If you have never tried self hypnosis and are wondering where to start this book will introduce you to several methods that can work independently or together and they are all suitable for beginners.If you have tried self hypnosis and are wanting to know where to go next, this book will provide you with a road map for where to go next.If you are experienced with self hypnosis and you are looking to deepen your practice this book will show you how to combine different methods for greater impact.This will now be required reading for students in all of my self hypnosis classes.

Good book!
This is such a good book!! I love that it’s so easy to read and full of so much great information.I had some really good ideas while I read each chapter! I came up with a new induction and an outline for a couple new sessions. And I’m excited to use a couple of techniques I haven’t tried yet.Thank you for the inspiration, Richard Nongard!!

Great book for anyone
I love this book! I practice self-hypnosis and I learned new and improved ways to use self-hypnosis. Dr. Nongard has a way of reducing down, that which could seem complicated, into simple steps that are easy to remember and follow.I will be recommending this book to my students and I would recommend this book to you.

Learn easy and fun self-hypnosis techniques
I've been studying hypnosis for 4 years and am a certified hypnosis instructor...and yet this book taught me so many things about self-hypnosis.It is well-written, a fast read, and full of great techniques for self-hypnosis.Whether you are already practicing self-hypnosis or curious about the subject this is a great book to read. I've read it twice already and plan to do another pass-through via the audiobook.

A great distillation of a variety of hypnotic and meditative techniques
Dr. Nongard has that rare knack of presenting complex concepts in the simplest, most straight-forward language. I recommend this book for those who want the make long-lasting positive changes in their life.

Great book! Simplifies self hypnosis so anyone can learn it!
What a great book. As a Hypnotist myself, I found this to be extremely helpful because this book simplifies Self-Hypnosis. This book shows how anyone can learn to do it easily, effortlessly, and empower them in their life. Everyone should have this book on their nightstand so they remember they are in control and powerful in their own life by practicing self hypnosis on a regular basis.

Actionable and Practical
This book can be summed up in two words... actionable and do-able. The good doctor really leaves you with practical exercises you can use to bring anything from slight to life changing results. In fact one of the exercises is so simple and short, you'll feel foolish for not at least trying. No foofoo airy fairy talk. Just pure practical gems of professional experience I highly recommend it.

Very effective
This is a concise read and you may have come across some of the methods before but don’t let that put you off. It’s a very well written book, the methods are explained very clearly and it’s an enjoyable read.

Easy to read
Easy to read and easy to implement the strategies set out in the book. Gets to the point a lot quicker than other "self help" books I've read.

Like a Pamphlet
There are only a few pages in this book which actually deal with step by step techniques. Most of this VERY thin booklet is made up of theories and such. I could have saved money and simply Googled the info. I would NOT recommend.

I liked the detailed information in this book, and the step by step instructions given. I want to use this knowledge to help me stay focused and achieve the goals I set myself.
