These earplugs are a classroom favorite at our aircraft maintenance training facility. They are easy to retrieve from our dispenser, and they work as intended.

If, like me, you have smaller ear canals (Small ear canals are indicative of high IQ. Don't bother to fact-check it; trust me, it's true.) then these are your choice. I've been wearing disposable "foamies" while motorcycling for many years, and since I ride quite a lot, buying them in bulk like this makes $ense. Sure, you can buy these in 200-pair boxes like I used to, but they're not quite as economical and you'll have to deal with opening the little plastic bags. I can typically reuse a set of these plugs 3-4 times before they loose elasticity and have to be discarded. A refill bottle of 500 lasts me about 2 years. I have the gumball-like dispenser with which this refill is designed to work, but it's not strictly necessary; one could simply rest the dispenser upside down anywhere for use as a simple container. The Neon Blasts are very comfortable; if used correctly, you won't feel them at all. I can wear them all day inside a motorcycle helmet without any discomfort at all; in fact, I also sometimes sleep with them in -- great when you're sleeping in a strange place. These are rated at 33db attenuation; no way to measure if that's accurate, but they certainly filter out much of the wind noise that accompanies motorcycling, which allows me to better hear my bike's engine and other vehicles around me, cuts down on fatigue on long rides, and preserves my hearing.

I wear ear plugs every day for 10-12 hours a day and these never make my ears hurt and do a good job of cutting the noise down.

Look at this picture and now go look at the product picture. Instead of the container being 90% full I have received about 60%. Do I really need to count all these to make sure I got 500 pairs?
