Strong and dependable
I love the idea of the magnetic phone mount, but have found most to be not quite strong enough to handle bumps and turns. This "Pro" model is definitely the ticket. The magnet is super strong - and it works through my LifeProof case. Also, the suction cup has a gummy liner that helps it stick to the window. It hasn't failed me yet, and we've had several 95+ degree days. I've purchased several phone mount solutions - this one is definitely my favorite. NOTE: The I first purchased the regular model for my work truck at a local Target. I loved it so much I came online to get a second one for my personal vehicle. I found the Pro version only online. I absolutely recommend getting the Pro model. It's just a better product overall - stronger magnet, better construction, better product.

Supports heavy phone on windshield
This is the second time I have ordered the same product. The first one is in my personal vehicle, and I’ve had it for three or four years. I can remove it to clean the windshield, and yet it still fixes firmly to the windshield. Because it was so fantastic, I bought a second one for my work vehicle. Again, super easy to apply and it doesn’t move one iota. I tried many other similar products, but none of them were as failsafe as this one. Outstanding product.

Perfect Phone holder
Loved this phone holder. The position on my car was perfect for me to check on maps, the hold is strong and my phone won't move, easy of installation and sturdiness worked so well. One thing that didn't work in my car was the disk they provide to connect to the dashboard. I didn't have a free straight surface for this part to work, so we connected to the glass which worked perfectly.

Another Great Magnetic Mount from Scoshe
I've used the older Scoshe magnetic mounts with success but I liked that this one has pivoting head and a stronger magnet for larger phones. It was nicely packaged and everything seemed very nice. The tightening nut seems to be a hard plastic with a soft rubbery coating but it tightens nice and securely. I appreciate the inclusion of two faceplates and while the silver is nice, I much prefer the subtlety of the black. I'm weary of using adhesive products on my dash board and while you can see that it actually mostly fit into the single din tray, I decided to mount it on the passenger side dash facing the driver. Also, mounting it in the tray would block the majority of my head unit so I didn't want to block it. It went on ok but despite the bendable portions of the mount, my first attempt didn't go as well as I would have hoped. The curves of the dash caused part of the adhesive to not hold well. Since I wiped the dash down well with the alcohol swab provided, the adhesive lifted without too much of a problem and I reapplied it in a better position. It has held in the new position well and I have not been concerned about the fact that I removed it once and reapplied. I applied the metal plate to the back of my iPhone 7 plus case so it holds very well. I found that due to the positioning of the mount, it puts less stress on the adhesive to remove the phone from the mount from bottom to up as opposed to side to side. I imagine people will see similar results depending on how and where they mount this. While I so far trust the adhesive I wouldn't want to put unnecessary stress on the adhesive so I would warn against using it indelicately if it's been in the hot sun for a while. One thing I never really cared for about these mounts was that the rubber used would collect a lot of dust and lint and look messy. Since this mount comes with two removable faceplates, I cut a small piece of microfiber cloth and set it under the faceplate. The microfiber looks cleaner and nicer in my opinion and you can see for yourself in the pictures I posted. The one warning is that if you are using your magnetic plate under your case, the cloth may be too slick to hold onto your phone well. For my phone with the plate on the outside it holds great and actually is easier to turn into landscape easier without removing it from the mount. I like the mount but I have a hard time seeing twice the value here compared to the standard Scoshe mount at around $14. It is still a great mount that does what it is intended for but what I really appreciated about the original mounts was that they were reasonably priced for a great mount. In the end it holds strong to my dash and my phone and I appreciate the bonus removable face plate as well as the functional ball joint that allows for great positioning that holds extremely well. I docked one star just for the price but if the price doesn't bother you at all then consider this a 5 star mount that I can easily recommend.

Works great so far. Way more convenient than 'cradle' based mounts.
I had to return the first unit because the suction cup did not hold. As per usual, Amazon shipped a replacement promptly. The new one works great so far. As of now I have used it for a short trip, and it worked flawlessly. I will update this review once I have used it for a longer period of time. I use it with a Samsung Fold 3 (a fairly heavy phone), and the magnet held great over mildly bumpy roads. I like it well enough that I ordered a handlebar mount version for my bicycle. I will review that as well. I went to take a picture of it on my car with the phone attached, and the stick grip pad had fallen off the dash with just the weight of the mount on it. The mount was still attached to the stick grip pad. This may have been because I did not give the stick grip pad enough time to cure. I have re-attached the stick grip pad with nothing attached. For now, I will tentatively give it a 3-star rating. Tomorrow or the next day I will re-evaluate and change my rating. Hopefully, I will have better results and can up the rating. A note about my first experience (suction cup not holding): For the second one I affixed the stick grip pad on slightly different part of the dash as I noticed that the part of the dash where I mounted the original has a slight bend toward the front. So it could be that I caught that bend with the front of the stick grip pad, and though the stick grip pad stuck fine, if the front was indeed 'bent' it probably would have prevented the suction cup from making a good seal. (I may test this theory, since I have not yet returned the original. If it turns out the issue was operator malfunction, I may keep the original for my wife's car). So, make sure you mount the stick grip pad to a perfectly flat surface if you are using it. Another note: I might have tried just affixing the suction cup to my windshield, but the arm is not long enough at full extension for that because of the severe rake of the windshield on my 2006 Corvette. 8/14/2023 Update: After letting the stick grip pad adhesive cure for 24 hours, It stayed on for a while but after about 48 hours the grip stick fell off after about a day and a half. It is summer, and it could be the adhesive loses its adhesion in the heat. Another minor issue is that with my Fold 3 attached (a fairly heavy phone where I could not apply the metal plate in the center because of the fold), The phone tends to tilt a little as I hit bumps, so I had to reposition it occasionally. Magnets that were a little stronger might help. It did not fall off, however. For these reasons, I will leave the rating at 3 stars. Decent Item; could be better. I have not decided yet whether to return the item or keep it and live with the above issues. I still like it better than my old cradle based mount.

Its a good solid magnet but does not work well with my note 20 ultra. The vent holder is quite small and it get too close to the vent which makes it difdicult for my note to hold on.

Comes off with a little tug - maybe it works on slick surfaces, but almost no car dash is slick.
