Flex Form Purify Mattress Protector, California King Size

After reading good reviews, I had ordered this mattress protector (Twin XL) for my foam mattress.However, the one I received was totally different from the photo provided by the seller (see my uploaded photos for comparison): not quilted and poor quality.The terry top was too thin to give any comfort; the plastic backing (although looked waterproof) was very stiff and didn't appear to be breathable or easy care material.(BTW, this item looked more like Newpoint Terry Waterproof Mattress Protector, for less than half of the price.)This Boyd mattress protector is definitely overpriced in my opinion.So, I returned this one and instead ended up ordering Newpoint Home Deluxe 250-thread-count Cotton Damask Stripe Mattress Pad (Twin XL) (although not waterproof).p.s.: If you'd like a good waterproof protection for your mattress, I suggest you to wrap (encase) your entire mattress first with a waterproof/allergy-proof protector and then cover it with a breathable cotton-top mattress pad for comfort.

It looks so plush in the picture but it isn't. For $30 some dollars I expected a more plush, heavier and thicker cover. I was disappointed but my boy needed it on his bed at college so he is using it. This cover fits my bed perfectly and it stays in place. I have shopped around and this was my choice based on the description. I wash it along with sheets or other whites but hang it to dry so the plastic backing doesn't get damaged in the dryer.Update; 07/03/16 I am still using this same cover on my hospital bed (extra long mattress) and it stays on the same as it did when new. I am buying another expecting the same quality.

The mattress is protected and the protector is soft not a brittle plastic. It is washable and does not disintegrate.

This was a great purchase. It is ample, meaning it wrapped around our specialty mattress with room to spare. It is also very well made, was a great price and arrived quickly
