Good, durable, little small
Pants seem very durable. Don’t write many reviews but if it helps anyone else getting riding I will. They are a little warm but are very comfortable! I’m 6’4 and got 34/34 probably should have gotten 36/36 but nobody makes that lol. Not bad but a little snug!

Worth every penny, but runs large in size, and has a tendency to slide down on crashes
For starters, I took a fall at 43mph on my EUC (electric unicycle) and rolled the entire way down the road a good 50-70 yards. You know when you roll like 6 times, and land on your feet and you're thinking "10 points, just stuck that landing like Nadia Comaneci" and then you realize you have a few more rolls of momentum left in you and as your angle increases past that point of being able to stand you think "here we go again" as you stumble backwards in a futile attempt to keep your footing. YepAnyway. I have had road rash on my bottom 3 times, and that's specifically why I bought these pants. They run slightly large so size 30 waist was more like 31 32 at it's tightest. You really need something LIKE THE HWK JACKET to zip to the pants so they don't slide down. All in all though, this is the only road rash protection pants I have purchased and they have helped save my hips and a LOT of road rash. All of my gear got torn up, even my hoody is shredded down to the kevlar layer in many areas. My padding saved me from many broken bones, the hip pads on these pants likely saved my hips from a fracture. These are so affordable that it's crazy to not have a pair for esk8/EUC/motorcycle. Even though they slipped down and failed to stop 100% of the injury I specifically bought them for, you can check out all that carnage they dealt with before sliding down and determine for yourself if they were worth $53.Cordura is a trademark name owned by DuPont for a line of abrasion-resistant fabrics, mostly nylon-based. 1000g means one square yard weighs one kilogram -- that's a sturdy bit of fabric to wear through!Pros:legitimate impact pads for hips (unrated) and knees (rated ce1).Saved me a ton of road rashVery wind resistant - cuts down all wind chillVented legs actually work super wellKnee pads are comfortable to wear over these knee pads for double impact protectionThe yellow stripes are very visible in the daytime/duskThe retroreflective stripes are very useful for night time ridingCons: the water resistant lining does nothing for me. I would never ride in the rain and my last worry is pants getting wet. It's also miserable wearing the pants with this lining because they are water resistant and your skin can't breathe so it gets moisture buildup inside. They have a tendency to slide down some to expose your bottom in an asphalt crash if you don't have the HWK jacket to zip them to - I recommend buying a size smaller if you don't go with the jacketThe white gets dirty fastThe hip impact pads are unrated padsThe Velcro belt works well and would be great if they were true to size, but there is a limit to how tight the belt can go before the velcro scrapes your back.

Great Pants for the Price!
I've only worn these for 1 overnight moto camping trip so I can't speak to the durability yet. I am impressed with the overall quality for the price, though. They're pretty comfortable and lightweight. I'm only giving it 4 out of 5 stars because I felt like it ran just a bit small. I'm usually a 32 waist and they were really snug on me. I exchanged them for 34 waist and it fits perfectly. As for the length, I'd say it's true to size but I do recommend going with 1 inseam longer if you are wearing them over your boots and also happen to have big caves. The previous pair that was 30" inseam was really snug over the boot and kind of restricted movement when I lifted my leg over my bike. I highly recommend these pants if you're on a budget and also want a light weight ADV pant.

Low quality and unsafe
Leg zipper is busted after only a month and I don't even wear these every day. If I can't even trust the zippers day to day, how can I trust any part of these pants to be protective in a slide. Disappointing.

Updated: this one misses in too many places.
UPDATE 03-06-2025They didn't hold up to the test of time. Basically the seams on the inner thigh are pulling out of the stretchy material. Likely due to the single stitching, and I guess that should have been double stitched? The "Patch" for lack of a better term also looks like it was sewn too close to the edge of the material to hold it even though that part is double stitched. When looking at them again, I also noticed that the velcro in one of the knees seems to have never been sewn correctly to begin with. I rode less than 1000 miles on these and would not recommend them at this point.I did contact HWK and was offered $10 off a new pair, but I think I'll just go with a brand with better quality control.------------------------------Original Review-------------------------------These are an amazing value for the price. Most of the pants I looked at were in the $100 to $170 range because I wanted something that was mesh/textile and I wanted something with the right features. Pockets in good places, hi vis accents, armored knees and hips, etc... This checks all the boxes and does it at much less than the competitors. Now for the details.I'm 5'10"180 with a 34 waist in most pants. But I have short legs so I always go with a 29" inseam.I ordered the Waist32''-34'' Inseam30'' and they fit amazingly great with only underwear underneath.I'm not sure how they will be with clothing underneath, but I wear them high on my waist and I could certainly get jeans underneath if I went with Low-rise.The mesh is nice and has a fold away storage pocket in front of the knee. The bottoms have a strap to secure them to the legs. There is a zipper at the feet too which I imagine could be unzipped for more air, but I haven't needed to do that. These are waterproof it says, but I don't think I'll need that feature since I'm a fair weather rider, but it's nice. And I never thought I'd say this, but these have a great crotch panel that I didn't think would be that big of a deal. I ride in jeans mostly so I get pinches and scrunches from time to time. The panel in these pants should relieve that from here out. Nice!I've only had these for a few days, but if HWK makes more gear, I'm a customer!
