We have had these many times and they never fail to be the great quality we have come to expect from jml.Bought many in the past and would buy again, many others on the market for a little bit cheaper but worth the extra few pounds. Great magnifacation and good light.

These JML magnifying glasses do the job but the light stops working aftera while. I have now purchased several of these glasses, but the fragilityappears to be on the arm in which the light is installed. This arm carriesthe internal wiring for the rechargeable light and on one of my mostrecent purchases the left hand arm is stiff and will no longer close, sothat you are left with a pair of glasses that you cannot close when notin use.My overall impression is that they are OK-ish but not worth the pricepaid.

I was in two minds about trying these as some reviews were saying they don’t fit over prescription glasses. I had no problem fitting them over, even bearing in mind I have my quite thick framed glasses and a headband behind my ears. They are a bit weird when you first try them on because you can’t see around the room with them on, they are meant for close up work etc. I find them perfect because I wear distance contact lenses most days so struggle to read small print, this enlarges and clearly defines everything to a crisp finish. With my glasses on, again more for distance vision, they work perfectly. Night time in bed, when you have weary eyes and cannot sleep, but don’t want to wake your partner by turning the lamp on to read, the built in light is genius. Rechargeable by usb, comes with lead and storage pouch. Definitely my best purchase in a long time.

These were great got them in January & the lights were brilliant, perfect until after 3 months left leg broke but miraculously still lit up, I sellotaped it up & carried on. Then June both lights gave up, but they were still good for reading etc (as long as you don’t leave your room with them on), now it’s October & the right leg broke off for no reason, the plastic at the hinge just gave up. I wear these everyday. I’m devastated. I bought a different brand & they are rubbish. I’m so disappointed in JML Mighty Sights because they really let me down. They need to use better quality products to make them & have a guarantee on them.

I have purchased a lot of pointless things in my time, but these were by far the most pointless (and I shop on Wish, so thats saying something)These are advertised as being able to be worn over your current prescription glaqsses and will act as a magnifyer.1. They did fit over my glasses - i cant deny that2. in situ, over my glasses I found everything to be hazy. I had assumed that you would be able to sit and it would magnify say, your phone, or to help you read a book, but so hazy i wouldnt be able to do either.3. Took off my prescription glasses and looked through them and it was like having one of those cheap pairs of magnifying glasses on.4. Put them back on over my own glasses and it turns out that it does magnify things - but only if you are holding that item a couple of inches from your eye.I genuinly dont know if there is something ive missed? I wanted a pair for my Dad as he struggles with his sight and would benefit from magnification to do the crossword, but genuinly cannot see (excuse the pun) how this product is supposed to facilitate this.I wouldnt recomend to anyone. Unless i suppose you have completely normal sight - but in that case you'd be better off spending £3.50 in a cheap shop. im sending back and getting a refund.

Very good at magnification, but far too fragile. The legs break off much too easily. I have bought several pairs as they as so good while they last, but unfortunately that isn't long.
