Love this. Cat loves this. Good for napping outside, while he's surrounded by all of those outside sounds and smells. He is a partial feral adoptee, so he really likes to be outside (without the worry of him disappearing for days at a time).

I unexpectedly adopted a four week old kitten that was abandoned and needed to take her to work with me for about a week. Since I wasn't sure if I could always be able to hold her when work came in, I wanted a tent just in case so that I could put her in there for a little while. This worked out perfectly! It was light weight, easy to carry, and came with a travel bag. There wasn't a heavy chemical spell and the sides stayed down nicely (there was a slight curve to the ends, but nothing that made it collapse in on itself). The kitten (and even my older cat) easily walked into it and didn't seem scared or bothered by it. It was a little confusing trying to figure out how to collapse it back into the bag, but they provide you with instructions and a link to a video to help.UPDATE: 11-5-18This tent turned out being a blessing. This same kitten was spayed a week ago and she did not have a good time with it. When we needed to calm her down, we pulled out the tent and it was great area to keep her contained safely. Once everything had settled down, she was then regularly going into the tent on her own. At night we could let her sleep in the tent next to us and during the day she will go in and out whenever she feels the need. It's almost like a safe haven for her. I honestly don't know what I would have done without this tent and I'm so glad that I bought it.

Here's what I HATE about this thing:1. It's incredibly clumsy to maneuver - I have to secure my cat in the enclosure while we're inside the house, then carry the whole enclosure, with him in it, to the deck outside. Because there's no hard bottom and/or handles, the whole thing folds in like an Ikea bag, which makes it awkward for both me and my cat, as well as puts unnecessary strain on the wire frame and stitching. So, that's one.2. The other thing is that I resent that I'm clearly going to have to buy one of these every month or so. My cat loves it so much, so we use this just about every day the weather's good. For what it's made of, it's held up well, but the first one we ordered now has several small holes in the netting, in the nylon (along the bottom frame), and a couple little punctures in the tarp-like bottom. I should add that my cat likes to play inside and around this enclosure when it's set up indoors as well, so it's really "well loved." The second one I order will be for outdoor use only, and the original will be the indoor play tent --- hopefully this arrangement will make the replacement last a bit longer.Anyway, those are my quibbles. My cat, as previously stated, absolutely loves this cat house (in fact, he jumped inside of it the second it was first opened). It's really sweet to watch him so fully enjoy being outside. He's about nine pounds and has plenty of room within it.

Our cat now gets to hang out with the family... even when we go outside. When we bring it out she runs up to us with excitement since she gets to look at birds, chipmunks, squirrels, AND get fresh air and some sun on her fur.We had a similar product like this that was made of mostly cloth, but our cat kept “going” in it for some reason, so I really love that the bottom layer is made of tarp so we can wipe it clean if there are ever any accidents.The see-through material looks like mesh, but it actually sort of a rubber material which feels way more durable than mesh, especially if your cat likes to scratch those kinds of things like mine does.I also really like that there is a zipper lock that you can use to keep the two zippers close to each other so your feline friend doesn’t accidentally escape.It would be nice if the tent was just slightly bigger. It seems that similar products are either WAY bigger or the same size. Also, we still haven’t been able to figure out how to get this thing folded back up properly (despite watching the video and viewing the instructions), but I’m hoping we can figure it out soon. Really just afraid of bending the supports.

Hoppy, our new kitten was rescued from a feral family, so he had a little more energy than we counted on dealing with.. He would awaken us playing full tilt at 5 am (too early!), launching himself into my face sometimes, and I was frantic to find an enclosed and safe area for him where I could ensure a couple of extra winks' sleep and peace for awhile. Then I found THE CAT HOUSE. As soon as we opened it, Hoppy became curious and walked directly into it. The open mesh must make the cat feel part of everything around him while still safely enclosing the animal, as he took a bath inside to inaugurate his new domain. The first morning after receiving THE CAT HOUSE, when 5 am came and Hoppy awakened, I swiftly slipped him inside the cat tent, easily yipped it up, and went back to the arms of Morpheus for awhile, relaxing in the knowledge that there would not be "Death by Kitten" this day!. Hoppy was playing quietly and happily inside the enclosure when we awakened.THE CAT HOUSE is a pretty colored blue with amazingly strong wires that keep its tent like shape.So far, our chewing and biting kitten has not damaged the mesh, so it looks like it will hold up well for the long haul.It is the perfect size for any domestic cat, and its practical size is not too large to be set up inside a small house or out in the yard.Excellent product!

High quality fine screen that keeps out pests and is easy to see through! I originally bought a less expensive brand of this pet protector, but I could see right away that it wasn’t even close to this brands quality and immediately ordered this one. My son had this one so I should have just started with this one in the first place! My cat loves it!
