These do the job. Easy to install especially with the included wrench.

Bought the two pack of this item which came with the replacement tool. Replacement tool was sturdy and no problems installing new part. New part appears quality manufactured, not cheap. Shipped next day, 2-day delivery. Tool & Spare coupler tucked away for future use. This is my second coupler replacement on my nearly 20 year old blender which keeps on going and going. Definitely worth fixing your old blender rather than buying a new blender. Fix only took a couple of minutes. We did have to use a wrench on the worn out coupler as the tool simply holds the shaft stationary while removing the coupler. This may be due to the fact that the broken coupler was an unbranded replacement after the original coupler failed. Remember, the coupler unscrews clockwise. I would recommend this after market part.

These couplers last me a year or two, apiece. Remember when you are removing the old black plastic couplers that they are reverse-threaded. Righty-loosey, lefty-tighty. The wrench that comes with them does indeed fit the drive axle but doesn't fit into the gaps between the metal uprights. Maybe my blender is an older design. It's probably 15 or 20 years old by now. I did take the wrench to my bench grinder and ground it down so it would fit.

I had a beautiful red KitchenAid blender sitting around in a cabinet for so many years, because that stupid coupler disintegrated after not many uses, and it was too nice and heavy to throw away... Finally a couple weeks ago I was decluttering and had to address the stored blender. I decided to search for the part on the KA website with no luck, but somehow stumbled on these aftermarket parts. There are no instructions in the package, but there is plenty of help to be found on the Internet of how to switch it out. My old coupler was so bad it was the consistency of tar and got black goo all over my hand - the “rubber” got separated from the aluminum base, so my husband twisted the base off with a wrench. After that it was just clean it up and put the new one on. I had to find the assembly instructions online because I forgot how to reassemble the blender correctly after all these years, but now it’s good as new and I have my blender back! So great! Just make sure to pay attention to what you do clockwise and counterclockwise because it’s the opposite of what you’re used to, but beyond that it’s an easy fix.

This is a perfect replacement part for my Kitchen Aid Blender. The package includes the wrench that is absolutely necessary to remove and replace the coupler. If your issue is like mine, you will need to spend a little time removing some amount of melted rubber residue left from the old part. I used a couple of squirts of WD40 to clean this up. Another important note is that when you use the included wrench to remove and replace the coupler, you turn it clockwise to loosen & counter clockwise to tighten. Just the opposite of how you would in any other scenario. The best part is, this cheap little kit saved me from having to replace my $150 blender….

Before you order check yoir blenders motor shaft threads. The part I got from this seller were fine threads and would not fit because my motor shaft has course threads. Correct model number and part number were correct. I found a seller that had posted a photo of the thread area of the part which I could see they were course. Using the same part number and model number I ordered it and it was correct.

took a few minutes to figure out the replacement as the original had melted right off the metal disk and I didn't know if this new rubber piece would attach to the old disk but after reading some reviews I removed the metal disk and replaced with the new rubber ne as it has threads.. the toll supplied is a must as it holds the axle while removing the old disk (counterclockwise as it has left-handed threads).. I used pliers to grip the metal disk. hope this helps others.

Make sure you watch the YouTube video on replacement for your model. The replacement parts nor the included wrench did not work perfectly. That said I was able to get enough information from multiple videos to find a solution. I can now say that with the old part off and the new one on, everything works like new. Maybe, even better than new.
