Ok... so how does one "love" a sewer hose? I don't really, but I give it 5 stars for what it is. I originally purchased the Valterra Sewer Solution about a year or so ago. It came with a short hose--maybe 12' or so? At the time, I also purchased a 10' extension hose, thinking that the two combined would certainly get me through situations where the sewer connection was far away from where I needed it to be. Well... I was wrong. We were at a campground in GA (Stone Mountain --awesome place) and while the site we were in had a gorgeous view, they are all gravel sites there and getting level was a little bit of a challenge in our 40' Class A. I had to pull up further in the spot in order to get to a place where my jacks would achieve level, and in doing this, I needed a longer sewer hose. I ended up using my traditional 3" sewer hose with extensions here because the two Sewer Solution hoses I owned at the time were not long enough. Bummer. But now I'm equipped! I have decided to keep this 25' version attached to the Sewer Solution for regular use but I bring along the other two hoses just in case 25' isn't long enough.If you are thinking about the Sewer Solution, I wrote a recommendation for that too. I think it's a nice alternative to the electric powered mascerator systems, though there are competing reviews and opinions out there about this. I carry the Sewer Solution and a regular 3" sewer hose and between these two options I feel quite adequately equipped. One thing I do recommend, however, is that you look carefully at the back-flow preventer and the on/off valve that comes with the Sewer Solution. Both are plastic, and my back flow preventer leaked from the get-go. The on/off valve is of sufficient quality, but I decided to move it so that instead of connecting directly to the Sewer Solution plastic (which is always under my RV and difficult to access) I attached a 6' lenght of dedicated garden hose to the SS, and then attached the on/off valve to the end of that hose, which then connects to my "black clean out" hose. This puts the valve in easy reach, and when I turn that valve off manually, negates the use of a back flow preventer. (To be safe, I use a back flow preventer on the hose spigot anyway.)

easy install, but the hose is coiled tightly and is very stiff. laid it out straight and let the sunlight soften the hose ....no more kinks or coils. good product

Bought this to covertly dump my tanks at the sewer clean out in my driveway....we live in a tight neighborhood with very nosy neighbors. Our clean out is up hill a bit but our water pressure is strong so it pushes the poo. Had a little drip at the water connection but the supplied connector just needed tightening. The construction seems questionable.....lots of plastic (everything is plastic), but so far it is holding up. It will make you worry a bit though....just seems like it has a good potential for failure, but what do I know. Def don't want this thing to fail....which would be a crappy situation. Anyway, the reverse spray into the tanks is awesome and it really does a good job of keeping the situation clean and smell free. You can rinse back and forth a few times to get the residual and its air tight so you don't get those amazing wiffs that make you want to puke in your mouth.

This is the hose that should have been included in the original purchase of The Sewer Solution. The 10' length that comes with the product will generally be too short every time. I replaced the 10' with this 25' and will save the 10' to use if circumstances calls for a longer run.The hose matches the original exactly. It did not come with worm gear clamps (as it should have). Since I just replaced the original hose, I did not need any clamps but I bought a pair in case I want to utilize the 35" run by adding back the 10'.I've only used the Sewer Solution once so far but it worked well and I believe I will like it better than the old 4" hose.

I took a star off because it didn't come with the hose clamps that the original unit came with. I had to aquire my own. Not a big deal but annoying to get everything out to dump and find out i needed something else.

Works as advertised , some reviews say it should come with an extra set of hose clamps but that's not necessary, just twist it on and off as per instructions on the hose itself , self sealing no worries here.
