I have had this dog leash since 2022, and until now in the first day of 2026 it broke. This leash was a daily use, twice a day. And I just ordered now another and noticed I never left a review. It retracts very quickly and easily, comfort is great..I often times put my hand through it and have it on my wrist when my hands are full. And my dog isn’t a “chew everything” type of dog so idk about chew resistance but I guess it’s a good quality for the years I have had this leash. Overall I give this a 10/10, highly, highly recommend.

It’s okay, but cheap, the ring clips don’t latch, everything falls off.

I bought this leash for my small dog since the old Petimp's spring broken after 10+ years of usage. It is a good product, lightweight, the 16' nylon belt is strong and good enough for small dog. The foldable bow is very convenience when travel. I am happy with this purchase and recommend it.

Our dog is just 16 lbs. We pressed the lock and the dog pulled once to get out further in our yard while we had her out for a potty break. This is when the mechanism broke. It makes a ratchet sound and continues to pull out. We now have to use our hand to hold the ribbon lead to prevent him from going out the full 16 ft. It does coil back into the housing. Just does not hold the ribbon style lead when in the locked position. I purchased four of these. One for a new Shih Tzu puppy that weighs 3 lb. One for a senior Shih Tzu that weighs 9 lbs (she has started wandering a bit in her old age. So, we decided to use a lead with her again.). One for our 16 lb Shih Tzu who is just over a year old. And the other for our small beagle who weighs about 20 lbs. None of our dogs are pullers per se. The beagle wanted to go down into the dry creek bed and we didn't want to go down the steep incline so put the break on before he made a line for it. The break mechanism on the lead broke as soon as he leaned in to head down the hill to the creek bed. The 16 lb Shih Tzu was just out for a potty break in our yard when she was running her normal circle getting ready to poo. We had the break on at 10 ft and all of a sudden it gave way and she had the entire 16 ft and the leash was making a ratcheting sound as it was still in the locked position. We can press "lock" and release it. However, the leash will not stay coiled within the mechanism. It continues to unravel. I would like to return for a refund so I can purchase something that will work. Purchase date was 1/2/23. Today is 2/6/23.

I got this honestly because it was a really good deal for the whole kit. The keychain part of the bowl broke right away, but it’s still usable when hiking so I just carry it separately. It was kind of annoying handing off the leash anyways. The bag carrier is great. And the least itself is great as well. I had it for about 3 months before ir broke. And the only thing that broke on it is the locking mechanism so it retracts fine but doesn’t lock. I have a little 11 pound dog that tried to take on a husky, she ran and it locked and broke. Again I had the leash for about 3 months before that. Other than that it’s a good leash for the money. I ordered a second one

The hook broke and the bag holder keeps opening. Feels like cheap material.

I love this item the colors are great, the harness fits good and is adjustable witch i did need to tweak a little and the leash is really nice. I would highly recommend!

I used this leash on my 30 pound French bulldog, when I went to lock the leash with the lock button, my dog pulled me slightly and it just broke and now it’s useless. Do not recommend, I also bought a pink one for my other frenchie and the clasp that latches onto their harness broke as well. Do not buy
