New Grains - Gluten Free Pink Sugar Cookies (10 Pack)

I have been a fan of these gluten free cookies for years. I was thrilled to find them available via Amazon as I stopped in-person grocery shopping.They are the perfect flavour—exactly like the non GF cookies that look the same. They arrive fresh & exactly as I remember them. They are slightly expensive (what gf products like this aren’t?) but they are well worth the money. The taste is excellent.

Normaly, I love these cookies. This shipment however was not at all typical. The cookies tasted sour instead of sweet and after taking a closer look bottoms didn't look right. I think they were just way too old. There were six out of ten cookies in this condition. I'd be happy with a new box because like I said, they are normally really good.

The dye in the sprinkles and icing tastes horrible. The cookie all together tastes like how wet dry wall and paint smells. The cookies are soft and chewy, but you still get a slightly grainy texture. Still the best texture in a gluten free cookie. I wish they had used sugar and cinnamon on the top instead of that disgusting icing, It might have been more tolerable.

At first this product looked like it would be the perfect solution to our gluten-free needs. Upon tasting it, however, we found it to be utterly unpalatable. It has a very bad aftertaste and the texture is that of cardboard. Definitely would not buy again.

I usually don't review things but since us gluten intolerant are limited I figured I would. They look beautiful, and they are packaged nicely! The cookie itself is good and has a great consistency; but the icing is pretty gross. It had an odor I couldn't quite place and an aftertaste on the first bite. I did do go on and try it again and it was okay after that, so I thought it was a fluke. I had another one later, same problem. I assume maybe it's the food coloring? Either way... they're okay, but because of my issues with the icing I won't buy again.

These were a perfect solution to leave in the classroom for class birthday parties so my daughter, who has celiac, could enjoy a safe treat with her classmates.

This the hands down the best frosted sugar cookie I have ever had. They are so good you would not know they are gluten free. You can save on shipping by buying these cookies 8 at a time rather than one at a time. They come individually wrapped and freeze well, I put them in a zip lock bag when I freeze for further freshness. I have been gluten intolerant for over 22 years and I have tried for years to find good tasting GF bakery goods and now my search is over. New Grains Bakery has many cookies, brownies, rolls, several different breads, flour tortilla shells, pizza crusts and many baking flours. I have tried many of their products and they are always fresh and taste wonderful. I would recommend highly.

For those of us who are gluten intolerant these cookies are absolutely a wonderful treat. I bought them this summer when my in-laws came up for a visit. We had these as desert. They were soft and tasty. None of the cookies had ANY mold on them. I checked as soon as they arrived given one of the reviews. These are comparable to the iced soft baked sugar cookies you get at the grocery store, which my husband loves but we can no longer eat. If you like iced sugar cookies buy some and enjoy. :)
