Rene Furterer Acanthe Curl Enhancing Leave-in Fluid, 3.39 oz

Love this stuff!! I have curly hair and for many years I was to shy to wear it that way. I saw a hairstylist that specializes in textured hair and she used this on my hair, so I decided to get myself some and I will never turn away from it! It smells good, it's lightweight, and best of all...it keeps the frizz down!! I usually use some mousse in my wet hair then work the curls with my fingers, and I apply Rene Furterer Acanthe Curl creme in my hair when it's beginning to dry a bit.I hope the picture comes out clear below...sorry it's black and white but you can see the definition and smoothness of my curls!

My hair is naturally wavy; with proper product/coaxing I can get it to be curly (e.g., scrunch and let air dry). That's what I'd hoped this would do.I washed with the Carthame Milk Shampoo and then put this product in my hair, scrunching it and letting it air dry. When it was dry I had ***STRAIGHT*** hair! Straighter than I've ever gotten without a blow dry/round brush combo. My hair feels nice, and has shine and bounce, but it is not curly by any means; it is not even as wavy as usual.But - my hair is normally so awkwardly wavy that I don't even care whether it's straight OR curly, as long as it makes a change from the dopey waviness - so I'll happily continue to use this product when I want a straight look.Next day I curled my (second-day) hair with the flatiron and it held up pretty well (better than usually happens without curl product in my hair). So it's a good product, but for me (Caucasian, shoulder-length layered bob) it didn't make curls unless I used the flatiron..

I have my sister to thank for turning me onto this product. She offered to let me try it when I was visiting her. I had packed my own fave products for my vacation, but decided to try it anyhow. I was pleasantly surprised at how well it managed the frizz of my curls without weighing down my hair and making it crunchy like mousse or gel. It also smells pretty good. Try it & I'm pretty sure you'll thank me later!

This product was expensive and I am not happy with the results. I have naturally curly hair and this did not enhance or help with frizz as promised. I'm disappointed. You will have the same results if you use a curl cream from your local drugstore.

Once again, I fall victim to the hopeless pursuit of a product that makes a difference in curly hair. I was convinced by a stylist to try the Acanthe line, after spending $90 on shampoo, conditioner, and this curl-enhancing leave-in, I am left with hair that is exactly the same as before. I'll stick to my $6.99 Andalou Naturals products. They work better, smell better, are all natural and socially/environmentally responsible, and at a fraction of the cost.

Rene Furterer has some wonderful products for thick wavy hair. However, this one did not "enhance" or "encourage" my hair to be curly as I'd hoped. It did give a smooth, soft, non-crunchy finish which is wonderful. Did not weigh down, make "dirty", or stiff. My hair just needs more enhancing!

This product definitely created soft hair. It didn't really keep my curls though. It allowed my hair to frizz and the curls to separate. I used it before using a mouse as well and that worked out ok but the mouse did the same thing on it's own.

Delivered earlier than expected, product as good as ever!

meine Silberlocken, wild, ungebändigt, und altersbedingt leicht strohig, wurden schon nach einer Behandlung sanfte Lämmerlöckchen. So hab ich mir das schon lange gewünscht. Das Produkt ist sehr ergiebig, es braucht nur ein Minimum zwischen den Handflächen zerrieben und in die Haarpracht einmassiert. Fertig.Klare Empfehlung!

Very oily, strange texture in the hair it doesn't create nice curls, hair even more frizzy.

Das Fluid macht die Locken geschmeidig und schließt sie. Außerdem riecht es recht angenehm. Ich kann das Produkt weiter empfehlen.
