Arrived just as expected, good quality. I would recommend replacing the back part with the same snap that has in the front. Had to put a zip tie so it wouldn't open in the dryer. But overall A+ in my book

My wife suggested getting something like this to clean all the hats I have. These have worked well and are easy to use. My hats are looking much cleaner now and I don't have to worry about them being misshapen.

My son wears caps daily. These are easy to place in the dishwasher. They don’t take up too much room and the caps hold their shapes being on the cages.

We have used it for 3 different hats and it works great. It isn't the best for kids fitted hats but we were still able to make it work.

From previous review by other buyers, I found out we have to do something very important before using this hat cage. If you rub with your finger inside part of the cage, you'll find many plastic splinter/spikes from the mold joints. I removed it using box opener, povket knife and nail file. But becareful, I cut my pinky finger little bit. After you remove the plastic splinter or spikes, rub again... if you feel inside the cage is smooth enough, then you're ready to use it. Otherwise the spikes/ splinter will scratch and shred the hat. Check other user's review.

I tried putting it in the dishwasher but it didn't clean my dirty hats as well as I wanted. I then tried putting it in the washing machine. The first time I tried it, the hat got out of the cage. The second time I put 2 cable ties to keep the cage closed and that worked nicely. I like the washing machine method because the entire hat gets soaked under the soapy water which makes a huge difference. My white hat came out looking bright white again! If you have dirty caps that are light colored, I suggest putting detergent on the dirty areas, and then after the washing machine fills up with water/detergent, let it run the cycle for a few minutes to slosh around the soapy water through the hat, then turn the cycle off and let it soak for an hour or so. Then turn the cycle back on and let it run its course. This method really made my hats very clean because they soak under water. The dishwasher didn't make my hats clean. The only gripe I have is that the bill is too flat, and will flatten out the curve on the bill of your cap. If the bill curve was more and there was a way to lock the cage during use so it doesn't come apart in the washing machine, then this would be the perfect item for washing your hats in the washing machine.
