Bought this kit to rewire a vintage lamp I purchased. Worked great. Instructions were pretty good but I used a you tube video to make sure I was doing it correctly. Would purchase again.

OK of you don't need directions
I have built and repaired lamps before, so, fortunately, I did not need the directions. Good thing, because the labeled diagram is unreasonably small and the directions are incomprehensiblel:"Tighten terminal screws,making sure all of the conductors to the brass-colored screw.Tighten terminal screws, making sure all of the conductors are screw head(Figure2)."I would buy again; reasonable quality and price. The black looks good installed on my old ironwood lamp.

Worked great
Worked great for the Live Oak lamp I turned from a piece of firewood. The 12" long 1/8" IP threaded lamp pipes were slightly bowed, presumably during shipping, which the only thing that really created problems in install. Since it was a fairly tight fit in the 3/8" hole I bored all the way through the lamp, I ended up loading it into my cordless drill chuck and let the drill thread it through for me. Worked like a charm!The bolt on the top of the harp was a little off-kilter, but I managed to get it bent enough for the shade to sit straight. 3-way socket works perfectly.And I have the extra 12" threaded pipe to make a second with.
