NOW Foods Supplements, Green Tea Extract 400 mg with Vitamin C for Dietary, Cellular Protection*, 250 Veg Capsules

Long story short I had/have prostatitis (inflammation of the prostate) and my doctor prescribed a anti-biotic along with recommending that I take a vitamin high in Sylenium and Licopene, which I had already been doing for well over a year before being diagnosed by taking a mutli-vitamin supplemental. Additionally my Doctor recommended abstaining from red wine, beer and spicy food (now I must confess this I did not do very well, who can?)After the antibiotics were used up the symptoms lessoned but did not entirely go away. My PSA (Prostate Specific Antigen) level was constant (no increase or decrease) but the Dr. said to just monitor it every year or so and continue taking a multi-vitamin on a daily basis.After reading many online stories of others with Prostatitis, some articles suggested that taking an anti-oxident (like Green Tea Extract) could make things much more comfortable by reducing the inflamation effect. Armed with that knowledge I decided to give it a shot and bought two bottles of this product and three weeks later my protstatis syptoms significantly decreased. Upon my annual checkup with my Doctor I mentioned to him that I continued to take a multi-vitamin and in addition to that Green Tea Extract as well and told him my results. He told me that taking any anti-oxidents is highly recommended and he recommended that I continue taking the Green Tea Extract.Fast forward, I still take my other multi-vitamin and when I ran out of this product for one week I noticed that my prostatitis was coming back...As soon as I started taking it again the symptons went away almost immediately.Currently I am taking 1 pill a day but may up it to 2 pills a day like someone else recommended. I take mine currently in the morning..If I take it in the evening I am not able to go to sleep on time.I am not saying that this pill will cure your prostatitis but for me it helped make life a LOT more comfortable plus its an all natural product which scored bonus points with me.I will say that over the course of 1 year when I started to taking this product I have lost 30 lbs...But I don't know if that was due to changing my eating habits (eating healthier now) or if Green Tea Extract was the main cuprit. Physically speaking, I have done about the same amount of excercise over that time (pretty active).Either way, since taking this product I feel much better, have more energy, much more focused and alert than I was before and most of all no, or very little, symptoms of Prostatitis.Try a bottle and give yourself a few weeks before passing judgement on this product, be it for weightloss, overall well-being or lessoning inflamation effects.Cheers!John

I love this stuff! First of all, I've purchased several Now Foods products in the past, and I have never been disappointed. I've purchased some of their other supplements and essential oils, and they are all high quality. I trust Now Foods products without a doubt. So although I was a little unsure of using this new product I had never heard of, I knew if I wanted to give it a shot, this would be a safe brand to try.I purchased this supplement because I was trying to lose weight. After researching several weight loss options, I decided Green Tea Extract would be a safe and hopefully effective solution. I have IBS, and I am very sensitive to caffeine. Coffee is something I can't drink, so I was a little concerned with how this supplement would sit with me. I was worried it might cause digestive problems, but I haven't experience any issues. I will say, I take Now Foods Glucomannan at the same time, which helps support regularity, so that may be why it didn't cause any digestive issues.I don't love green tea, so this pill version is a great alternative for me. I take it in the morning with breakfast because I don't want to worry about have a caffeine buzz later in the day that keeps me up at night. I read reviews that some people were experience this, but I'll be honest, I didn't experience any jittery or buzzed feelings. I did feel like I had more energy throughout the day, but nothing too intense.My goal in taking this was to boost / speed up my metabolism, and I believe it has done just that. I do take it in combination with diet and exercise, but I think this has been helpful in giving me more energy throughout the day. More energy to make sure I still feel up to exercising after work.

Ok so I was sketchy on this stuff and purchased it from Amazon since its the overall best deal around. Read the reviews on this site and Bodybuilder forum and thought its worth a shot. This stuff is the dirty cheap and actually works! I work out 3 times a week and cardio in between adn have some what of a good diet. I stay away from bad carbs and the junk drive through fast foods. I am 5-8" and weighed in at 158lbs and dropped down to 150lbs. ITs been about a 1 month and 3 weeks since I started this stuff and I am on my second bottle. I also took off 1.5 inches off my waist, down to a 33.5 inches in waist. I used this for leaning out and get body fat down, and oh my goodness does this stuff AMP you up!... Stay way from takin non natural caffeine in excess when droppin this stuff, make your head pop off! LOL... I take one in the morning with my oatmeal and then drop another one after a sensible lunch (tuna sammy), I do not take one past 5pm or else I cannot go to bed. Lots of energy through out the day, by any means is this a miracle pill, but does increase your chances or gives a lil kick to drop some LBS along with regular workouts and good eating habits. I would highly recommend this stuff and its worth a shot and cant beat the price!
