Well made, good fit, adjustable to eliminate any buzzing.
Well made and nice adjust-ability which helps as the next widens on a single guitar or varying neck widths on multiple guitars.

Best capo so far, 50+ years playing
I have tried and owned quite a few capos in over 50 years of playing acoustic guitar. This one works the best and is as easy as any to place and move. Looks great, will only buy Shubb from now on.

Capo Holy Grail
Was reluctant to get this capo initially because it is pricier than the other capos I have used. I considered this one because I was having issues with buzzing and a lot of people recommended this. I decided to try it out and now I understand. The ability to adjust the tension is a game changer. Also quite easy to use. Would highly recommend

Pretty and largely functional
Shubb capos are work horses. They are made from heavy metal with solid rivets. I got my original over 30-years ago, and still use it. I was taken in by the bronze color on this particular model. While still of high grade materials, I found this was a bit loose where the neck armature is riveted to the main structure. Consequently it is not that great for switching to different positions, or between guitars. It requires a lot of adjustment. Also, I tried this on a mini 12 string, and its a no go. Spans the neck but problems with dampening all 12 strings. Aside from these observations I still think its a good capo. It's possible the one I got was the last one through QC before quitting time. That stated I'll probably be bured with my Shubbs. They will last forever.

Best Capo Yet
A friend recommended this capo...turned out to be great advice. I have four different capos, but this is by far my favorite.

Great capo!
The Shubb capo is very nice and works well. I particularly like the ability to adjust the tension at which it closes, which helps you to prevent any sort of tuning problems. Some capos either don't close consistently across all strings for all neck sizes and shapes, or they close too tightly, causing your pitches to go sharp. With the Shubb you can adjust the tension to be exactly what you need to get a clear note and no more, which gives you a natural sound and consistent intonation. For electrics and smaller necks I think I still prefer the G7th capo, for its ease of one-handed adjustability, but I have found that those capos don't fit my acoustics well. This is a great solution in those cases.
