BEST SUITCASE IN THE UNIVERSE
I travel ALL the time and in all different climates and situations. I used to lug a huge camping backpack around on month long trips, and drag a heavy hardshell suitcase behind me when I had to go to more professional things. BLEGH I will NEVER go back. The amount of stuff I can fit in this suitcase is absolutely INSANE. I've taken it on a three week trip in a WINTER climate and had enough clothing to last the whole time. It fits in ALL carry on compartments, and if things get REALLY dire on the plane, it even fits under the seat. Mathematically, that seems IMPOSSIBLE for all the crap I jam inside this! No more checking bags, no more dealing with stupid wheels caught in cobblestones.. I FLY through security and get where I'm going SO fast! I love the mesh divider in the middle-- helps compress all your stuff down so you can fit more! And just when I think I've got it filled as far as I can fill it, There's the back and front zipper compartments that can fit SO MUCH MORE STUFF! Whenever I'm in a hostel everyone asks me for the brand because it is a flippin' AWESOME backpack. Once you've got this thing you'll stare with pity at everyone else schlepping their crap miserably in heavy, useless tanks of suitcase hell. BUY THIS BAG!

Two month-long trips to Europe so far...
I bought this bag in 2017 for a trip to Europe. It was a month-long trip, only flying there and back. Within Europe was used a rented car across 6 countries. This year, in 2018, we took another month-long trip to Europe. This bag has gone on both trips and performed wonderfully.Using packing cubes, I was able to pack 4 trousers (and a leather belt), 4 dress shirts, 1 light jacket, and 7 days of underclothes (socks, underwear, t-shirts). A travel requirement being that I did laundry about every 5-6 days. I always had a clean t-shirt to wear, along with socks and underwear. It also held a fairly hefty laptop computer stuffed in between the halves (for accessibility at security).Using this bag I traveled to Europe for a month with no checked bags. I only did it to see if I could and was thrilled that it worked so well. There was a moment on the return trip this year where I had to run through the airport to make a connection - the bag was heavy on my back, which was annoying but it worked out fine. The straps stow easily for when you get on the plane and the bag fit fine in the overhead bin. After two major trips the only damage so far is that one of the zipper handles (which is a small cord) broke off. This is something easily replaced. I've worried about the shoulder straps giving way, since the bag has been heavy on both trips, but so far, so good. This bag and packing cubes has been one of the best travel purchases I've ever made.

Just try it
I finally got to use this bag. I packed 1.5 weeks worth of clothes plus items I was giving away to family upon arrival on my trip and the bag worked very well. The bag fits multiple pairs of jeans, shirts, underwear, socks, and even shoes. It fits in overhead compartments very well even on smaller jets. It is not ideal for putting underneath the seat in front of you as the bag is quite large. The inner compartments being separated is very helpful. The straps are fairly comfortable. Literally the only 2 drawback to using this travel backpack versus a rolling carry on is that if you are in line at TSA etc. for a while, your shoulders will start to ache from the weight of the bag. Also, its is not the easy bag of open up if you are on a plane and want to retrieve something. Personally, I never go into the overhead bin during a flight so that is not an issue for me. The price and quality is good in my opinion. I was on the fence about the purchase after reading many of the reviews however, I took a chance and I'm very happy I did.

right down to the super thin fabric and nearly-flimsy zippers
It's exactly as described, right down to the super thin fabric and nearly-flimsy zippers.Arrived 2 days before a two week fly/drive/train European vacation. No problem fitting it onto the overhead bins for discount EU airlines -- we flew Norwegian into UK, then EasyJet to France and Monarch(RIP) back from Venice. Didn't test the enormous laptop slot as I was taking a true vacation without laptop!Straps were passable, and no belt strap. But it was handy to toss it on my back, especially given my wife's penchant for making me handle her bags as well. Walking on the plane with a big backpack is way easier than rolling down the aisle.I like that it opens like luggage. The internal zippered spaces were just-ok.

Great capacity, wanting for durability a bit
After only 3 short trips I am seeing significant wear. Could be due to rough baggage handling as I have been on puddle hoppers and this gets valeted. Haven’t had any problem with size as the dimensions for carryon are off a bit. Flown American Airlines without issue from small regional and international airports. Holds A LOT.

Incredibly efficient bag.
I've had this bag for three years and have used it for several international trips of more than 3-weeks, numerous domestic trips, and I've also used it as a great bag to move tons of clothing to new apartments. I'm a 5'5" woman and find the dimensions of the bag very easy to handle. The strap padding is more than adequate for long backpack trips, even if having a big, square, full suitcase isn't really comfortable. The placement of the grab handles makes vertical or horizontal hand carrying comfortable, and makes the bag easy to snatch out of overhead/underseat locations. The surface of the bag has survived some rough and disgusting trips on planes and trains of questionable cleanliness, and it's been easy to clean after getting subway ick on it.

Roomy suitcase that is easy and comfortable to wear on your back or carry
Roomy suitcase that is easy and comfortable to wear on your back or carry. Purchased for a 12-day trip to Europe and it easily held everything I needed. I had no trouble carrying it on or finding room for it in the overhead luggage bins — much easier than traveling with a trolley suitcase. Wish the pocket with the horizontal zipper was the entire circumferance of the top of the bag, but that's a minor complaint. The orange stitching seems a little loose, but it may just be more noticable because of the contrast with the gray fabric. Overall, I'm happy to own this bag and hope to use it many times in the future.

Better than a suitcase but no replacement for a good backpack.
Great compact bag. I used it as Ryanair carry on for a 8 day trip to Prague and Budapest. How big your clothes are will depend on how much you can fit, it was Winter so I needed thick clothes and men's jeans + large clothes tend to fill up more packing space. It'll just be enough for week long trips as long as you don't expect to fit any shopping in. Worked better than the large popular backpack they offer as it was less bulky. I just wish it had a waist strap, as it really hurts your shoulders if you want to carry it around all day. If you have somewhere to store your bag then this is perfect, and a better option than a suitcase. If you want a bag you can 'backpack' with, then I'd go for a more expensive backpack with proper pockets, weight distribution and a waist strap. Just make sure you check the dimensions if you want to use it as carry on.

This bag is great!
I’ve been using this bag for almost 2 years now, and it’s holding up great. It’s travelled dozens of trips, and thousands of miles. Perfect carryon (no wheels = ++ more space!), and tough enough to feel ok about checking it. It holds a ton. The way it opens like a book, giving access to both zippered compartments, makes it super usable. I often pack my raincoat or more fragile items between the two sections. There is a zipperrospace in the front, for flat items, and a large space in the back for flat things, as well. It seems the straps should go in there but I haven’t figured that out(haven’t tried it). I get many compliments on its looks, as well!

Awesome Purchase
This bag has been to Europe, South East Asia and to the US with me. It has all useful compartments if you intend on backpacking or even going to a resort for 7 days. It has fit on many flights I've taken as a carry-on and has not been taken away even when the airline says that space is limited in the overhead compartments. A downside could be that it doesn't have wheels but I believe they do offer the same or similar bag with wheels if you like.
