Wow, much nicer than I was expecting!
Holy Shiskabob!Just Gorgeous. Love the gold & black bezel.I have another Invicta Pro Diver Auto, the basic 8026... I think this watch is MUCH nicer. Although in the abstract I like watches that have smaller cases, the extra 3 millimeters allows for proportionally larger hands and markers, which makes the watch more readable. The crown on this model is much bigger than the crown on the other watch, and I find it much easier to work with. It seems to be a completely different design; it screws in much more consistently and evenly.I am also just amazed be the improved quality of the lume with this model. That is the greatest weakness of my other Pro Diver (8026), and I wasn't really expecting it to be any better on this model. But damn, in fact, it's incredibly good - I compared it to several Seiko automatics of mine, and found that the lume is just as bright initially and seems to last just as long. It's night as good as my Seiko monster, but quite comparable to the lume of several military filed watches. This watch was manufactured in March, 2015, and the other in Feb 2015, so it's not that the lume of the other watch is older and more degraded... I have no explanation for how much better the lume is here, other than that some models get special treatment. The carbon fiber dial looks very nice, although I am not sure that I am completely pleased with the way that they have put together the dial. It's a layered construction, with the carbon filter layer on the bottom. On top of this is a transparent disk of some material (possibly glass or more likely transparent polycarbon (i.e., plastic). This layer serves as the mounting surface for the pips that mark the hours, the logo, and other writing that's on the watch. It looks like it's a press-fit plastic piece, as I can't imagine how they'd be able to attach the pips or write cleanly on a glass surface. If it''s press fit plastic, maybe it's just the idea that bothers me - it looks pretty good and I like the way the pips are done - they are spherical 'blobs' and rise well above the circular metal containers they sit in. This is big improvement to the 8026, where the pips are flat and the metallic holders are too prominent & visible compared to the tiny flat pips. The 43 millimeter case is not to big for me, sitting comfortably on my skinny 6.75" wrists. The bracelet is the familiar stock bracelet I think Invicta has for most of the Pro Divers series, except 22mm to fit the lugs of this larger 43 mm watch. It has solid links but hollow end-links.The movement is hacking & winding NH35A model. The rotor is unfortunately garish yellow. Invicta has to screw up something on every watch or they wouldn't be Invicta. But this is very nice movement, and though it gets no adjustment for accuracy at the factory, they are more often than not very accurate out of the box. The movement I received is +3 per day, with little noticeable positional variation (I haven't had it long enough to say as far as isochronoism, but since I'd wind it completely and then wear it all the time till I put on another watch, that isn't likely to be an issue for me). Other watches I have with the same series (Seiko 4R3x) have accuracies of about +-1 (almost perfect), +-1 (almost perfect), +2, +6 and one that runs slow, -8 sec/day. Even this last watch losing 8 seconds a day is quite good for an automatic movement. I rather doubt an group of ETA 2824-2 movements would be found to be more accurate.I dunno, maybe Invicta has produced a diver style watch distinguished significantly enough from the Rolex submariner to put it beyond the usual criticism that it has copied the Rolex design. Whether or not that is the case, it must be said that, against all odds, Invicta has contributed original elements to the design without the result being gauche. On the contrary, the results are stunning!Anyway, if you are thinking about an Invicta Pro Diver, the 43" models with carbon filter dial are definitely worth the extra $35 bucks. And you might even decide, as I did, that it's a better deal than most of what is available for other brands.... There are many people out there who would disagree, I'm sure. Invicta has earned a controversial reputation, for good reason, I am sad to say, and I doubt that the company can ever become completely credible in the eyes of the watch community. But they do bang out some nice pieces, and this is one of their best.

Not a bargain watch, rather a really good watch that is a fantastic buy.
For the money, this is a fantastic buy. This is not the watch you want to buy if you are trying to impress your friends and want to be a watch snob, rather, be smart, buy this as your everyday work watch, and save your money to buy the expensive watch you really covet. The 15587 Pro Diver has the Seiko NH35A movement which operates at 21,600 bph, has a smooth sweep with the second hand and is a very durable, workhorse of an automatic movement. It is not a beautifully decorated, movement, plated with some precious metal, rather it is a very well put together piece of engineering, neatly done, very beautiful in its own way. You are not paying for a plated, engraved work of art, you are paying for an automatic movement that is visually pleasing, very durable, and put together very well. You will not be disappointed with its build quality and appearance. The 43mm case diameter is IMHO a very good size, not too large and very contemporary looking without looking like a huge Russian diver watch. The metal work and plating are superb, the bezel and crown look very well made and sturdy. The carbon fiber face is a nice touch for a watch in this price range, it has a nice flat finish that looks like it could real carbon fiber and not the cheap plastic imitation. It has depth and texture to it, you can visually see the carbon fiber weaving through the crystal. In summary, this is a great watch for the money, it would be a great buy for $175, but considering it cost less than $90, has a high quality Seiko hacking movement, has great build quality and just looks great makes this a watch that is hard to pass up. I do not like to think of this as a bargain watch, rather and insanely great buy on a really good watch. I highly recommend it, you won't be disappointed.

Love It!
I don't write a lot of reviews, most people cover the bases pretty good. I love this watch. If you are buying this watch, you are expecting to spend $100 or less on a watch. So, that being said, you probably don't buy a lot of Tag Heuer or Rolex watches. This is an excellent $100 self winding watch. It looks great and is well built for this price point. This is better than any Timex I have owned recently. I bought this watch because I have been having negative experiences with Timex. I was up in the air between this and a Seiko 5 or Divers watch. I am so glad I ordered this. It is beautiful and will be a great dress watch as well an everyday wear. I ordered the 17039 model as well to see them side by side. This model is a little larger and bolder. I like that. The bezel on this watch also turn easier but not too easy. The carbon fiber looks great better than the pictures and the writing on it is crisp and clean. Iwas worried it would not be. OK, it has a mineral crystal. So does every $100 watch. That is what you get at this price point. If you are in the market for a $100 Diver's watch, buy this and you will not regret it. It is definitely worth the price you can get it for on Amazon. If you want a little more watch and a Sapphire crystal try the 9937OBASYB model. It will cost you three times the price, but you get a better piece of glass. Me, I'll just buy a new watch if this watch get too beat up and save this one for everyday.

good watch
I am crazy about it so far. Ask me again in eight years, which is how long my previous mechanical Invicta dive watch lasted for.Now I've had it for a while, and I am quite pleased. It is a good watch. Of course, if there is ever a problem, Invicta has no customer service at all. Don't even bother trying to contact them. They are completely unresponsive.

Good all around watch.
I've got a number of Invictas and I like 'em all. They're not great watches but they aren't priced that way either. I've had this watch for several years now and it's never given me a problem. It fits great and has always been accurate. It's not bulky so I don't even know it's on my wrist. I'd recommend this watch to anyone looking far nice day to day automatic watch.
