Dechra TrizEDTA Aqueous Flush For Dogs & Cats (16oz)

It's always recommended to flush out your dog's ears from time to time, and this is the stuff our vet uses. I flush out both our dogs' ears twice a week to help prevent infections and to keep them clean. The vet always comments on how clean their ears look. Is it cheap? No. Is it worth it? Yes. And if you don't know how to flush a dog's ears, there are countless videos on YouTube that show you how to do it. It's so easy. In fact, it's got to the point where our dogs actually get excited when I get the bottle out....so it clearly makes their ears feel better and not itchy or anything. Highly recommended.

This product was recommended by a veterinarian. I use it occasionally when I see my dog starting to scratch at her ears. She does not have ear issues, but I think allergens will get annoying for them like it does for us. So before she starts drawing blood from her ear, I rinse her ears and do the massaging at the base of the ear and it works well.

This product penetrates the biofilm that protects pseudomonas bacteria from being treated with antibiotic/antifungal medication. By daily flushing my dog's ear with TrizEDTA followed by Mometamax, her persistent ear infection is under control after 3 months of treatment. Too soon to say whether it will eventually clear, but it is much improved My only complaint is that the price rose 16% in the past 3 months even though it is made in the USA.

So happy I found this bigger bottle. The one at my vet (same brand) is smaller and more expensive. Seems to work the same way. My cat loves an ear infection 🙃 and this has saved us many trips to the vet.
