The only antivirus software I have ever used. Good value price for good value product.

I'm old enough to remember the excellent Norton utilities, which mutated from a small, fast suite of MS DOS tools into a bloated, resource-hungry mess. Likewise, Norton Antivrirus was, not too long ago, a bit of a resource-hungry monster that could slow down a PC almost as much as the viruses it was supposed to be protecting you from. That, my friend is history. Norton 360 is excellent. Not only do you get first-class virus protection, you also get dark web monitoring to tell you if your personal details are being sold on the dark web, you get a fast VPN (I mean really fast, I've had VPN speeds of over 100mbps on my 200mbps Virgin broadband), cloud backup (just enough for Windows, but not enough for a load of installed games/software, so I don't use it.), a password manager, and parental controls. Frankly, it's worth the cost just for the VPN: 12 months fast VPN for 5 devices for £15? What sorcery is this?! (And yes, the Virus protection and VPN works on my Android phone and tablet). The downside? Installation is fairly simple, but unintuitive, and for the financially paranoid (like me) a bit harrowing. I don't like having to give my financial details to install software, but I found I did with Norton 360, even though I'd bought it from Amazon. Happily, it's easy to cancel the auto-renew, but it's a bit messy and Norton should do better. It's even messier if you're upgrading from an older version of Norton Security Deluxe, as it's not just a simple install, you have to completely clear off the old software and it's not intuitive or particularly quick. But for a fresh install, this is great! I was a died in the wool AVG user, but I'm on my third year of Norton now, (2nd year of Norton 360) and I'm loving it. Unreservedly recommended, but you may need a little tech support.

I have been using this security for a couple of months now and overall, I am quite pleased with the product. The security is good and I feel it protects my device well. The program on both my computer and mobile phone is easy to set up, use and maintain. When I first started using this product I did I have to input my banking details which is something I did not want to do, nor did I think was necessary however, I had no choice but to do it in order to use the product. I have been able to turn off automatic renewal so hopefully, I will not be charged for a subscription when this current one comes to its end. One massive issue that I do have with this product is the VPN that comes with it. Firstly, it was working fine on my computer for the first couple of weeks but now, it will no longer connect. Secondly, I have recently purchased a new phone and immediately had issues with disconnecting from the WiFi. I am quite tech savvy and after a lot of investigating, my conclusions is that the VPN was causing the issue. I booted the phone in safe mode and deleted the VPN and have not had any issues since. Overall, I do like this product and I think it is decent for the price however, if the use of a VPN is important to you then I would not recommend this. The product has good advantages, but it does also have some big pitfulls.

I’ve been using Norton since Norton himself.!!! Great product. Turn off automatic renewal unless you’re rich. It will pester you to turn back on, ignore it. Buy product with multiple devices available. Has great VPN on Laptop, mobile phone etc. Storage is different to Google drive, it’s a batch upload system. Being online it has limited use. Would take way too long to back up even a laptop. Ok for backing up photos, music and some essential applications data. Video collection would take ages to upload. Look out for version with PC tools included. Much cheaper than buying separately. This version doesn’t have that. Easy to install and just gets on with it in the background.

Constantly finds stuff that needs addressing on my laptop - and then tries to upsell a higher version of Norton to remove it. I had purchase the 360 Deluxe version. I am not exactly sure what they mean by deluxe because all I am getting is a slower laptop and a load of marketing pop ups. I have tried to cancel renewal but because I purchased via Amazon Norton do not have a record of my purchase. Avoid Norton.

Great protection and amazing price! I normally try and pick these deals up from Amazon every year. Oh and just remember and cancel auto-renew as if you don’t at the end of your subscription period it will automatically renew at a much higher price! This can be done from your Norton account! Once your subscription expires just pick up another on deal at Amazon, simples!

The Norton auto renewal is extremely expensive & triples the Amazon package price which is good value. Norton 360 Delux was already installed on my devices from previous year but still found it complicated to activate the new key on 4 other devices & also to cancel future automatic renewals.
