Wago 221-413 Lever-Nuts 3 Conductor Compact Connectors 50 PK

I'm incredibly happy with this purchase. Previously I used waterproof wire-nuts for my irrigation timer wire for my sprinklers. The wire nuts would somehow fall off; it seemed every time the gardener came. I tried a couple of other brands of quick-connect; including one that did not require any spicing and had built in waterproofing; but they proofed unreliable. I've had great success with the WAGO 221 in-line connectors. They were super easy to install and I like that they are reusable. I was able to water proof them with the WAGO Gelbox 207. I found that one gelbox held 3 connectors and I needed a separate gelbox to hold the groundwire connector where I used the 5 terminal version. (I only needded 3, but ChatGPT recommended I get the 5 for dependability). At first I thought it would be difficult to deal with seperate in-line connectors and gelbox for the water proofing; but after doing the installation I can say this was the easiest and fastest of the solutions. My connections feel solid, protected and if I ever need to change the wiring I can do so without buying new connector hardware! Also I was concerned that the gel boxes would be too big or cumbersome, but that turned out not to be the case at all. The gel boxes fit nicely around the connectors are are not bulky.

It works and fits inside of the tightest junction boxes whare wire nuts would be a problem. One the lever is pushed down the wires do not come out like the usual push to connect. Easy and fast connections.

These things are awesome. No wire nuts to mess with. I was having trouble getting the smaller strand wires from my lights to stay in the wire nuts. Just flip these open and strip the wire about a half inch and insert in connector and close. I had the installed in half the time of those damn wire nuts. I pulled on all wires after I was done and could not pull the wires out. There great!!

This is a cool little product. It works well. You do need to be careful about how you lift up the levers. It is easy to open more than you were wanting. It is a solid and clean fit. You do not need to guess if there is a connection or not.

I am a big fan of this product. They make it so easy when your trying to figure out circuits. I only gave 4 stars for the fact that someone doesn't know how to count. I ordered the 50 pack of the 221-415 and only received 30 in the box even though the box is clearly marked 50 pieces. The icing on the cake when I opened the box of 221-413 there were only 35 of that size again with a box clearly marked as 50 pieces. Will be returning the lever locks and going back to good old fashioned wire nuts. What a bummer.

I used this in a unique way. I bought an aftermarket CarPlay radio for my car and I have no experience with soldering nor do I want to mess with it so I looked up on google and found this to be the direct installation of the wires! The only downside is watch out for your fingers when closing the tabs, as it feels like tiny mousetraps closing on your fingers lol

The best connectors on the market, i have been using wago connectors for 25 years, these lever type 221s are relatively new, about 3 yrs on market, i have been using them since they came on market, great wago quality, good variety of sizes and capacities, both in ca le numbers and current carrying capacity. Can be used on all cable types, solid ,stranded or flexible conductors. Compact in size and transparent so you can see tgat conductor is in correct position. Tou will not regret buying these connectors, but beware of cheaper asian knock offs which are rubbish.

I love these things, and I now use them for automotive wiring, they are great for troubleshooting! Temporary circuits in electronic etc. ...and of course 110VAC wiring!!
