Exactly as described. The pages arrive containing only the vastness of an under-exercised imagine, just waiting for someone to fill them with artistic delights, or doodles of stick figures falling off of buildings. Or words, but that's a waste. The pages are a nice shade of white, one that i can only describe as "paper-white". The cover is made of some kind of glossy clay paperboard that is really hard to color with crayons, but food sticks to it really well so use caution at the dining table. I would highly recommend this product to anyone of any age for any reason.

Great book for children to be creative, and parents can save these treasures. We have another book like this, that our daughter created when she was in elementary school, it is now 20-years old. Bought these and party favors for our 7-yr old granddaughter's birthday party. Each child received a Blank Book, box of crayons, birthday pencil, and stickers.

This journaling book works equally well with pen or pencil and faithfully records a wide variety of colors. Unlike inferior journaling books, this one does not force you to write on lines pre-printed on the paper at the factory. Kudos to the manufacturer for respecting our judgement to write where we think is appropriate. Best of all, and unlike the electronic devices that are so popular today, this product won't crash, won't erase what you wrote, won't store it someplace who knows where and won't throw incomprehensible error messages at you.

this is a great activity for kids. It inspired my children to write and to think about stories. It gave me time with them without the computer and created a bond between us. I do think that I will buy a hard bond book and this will make it even more special. Great price for a meaningful product.

Love these things! I keep buying more because of the usefulness. Can create sketchbooks, reference guides, notebooks, etc etc out of these. The family keeps going through them. One delivery I received a couple that weren’t high gloss, more of a matte and I really liked those because it’s easier to write in with pen.

Seriously, I would rate this ZERO STARS if that were possible. These are flimsy and horrid little booklets and should cost about 10 cents each. My granddaughter likes to write stories and draw pictures, but these are so awful that they don't even look like books. The fact that they are not eligible for return is ridiculous. They are so awful they'll go straight in the trash. Not even worth keeping.

I actually kind of like this book for journaling. But I should have known better than to get a glossy cover because I don't like the shine. Not bad. Great value.

I used these as party favors and they were a big hit. Great for young kids (my daughter's in kindergarten) to start making their own books. The only down side is that the covers are a shiny surface which makes them durable but difficult for kids to write on with anything other than a sharpie and even sharpie doesn't adhere all that well.
