What can i say.....Simply the BEST knife company!! And i have about 4 or 5 of their knives now. Forget paying 3-5 times the price for a shun and german wustofs are just boring, plus they REALLY care for their customer's. I had one tiny issue and they made up for it ten times over! The knife itself is just AMAZING. The handle is futuristic but perfectly balanced especially with a pinch grip. Razor sharp out the lovely box and u get a badge & sheeth (is that how u spell it?) too. It is stunning like ALL their knives! Buy buy buy

Hello I just now recive my knife and try it all day in the kitchen,my arrive perfectly sharped however I am just scare a bit in future that how to keep it that level off sharpenes ,also its really stylis and surprisly comfortable for a hand ,I hope just Dalstrong will work on that and also if this knife will be in 10 and 12 inch warriant and for this series special stone or sharpener to keep it constatly in that level that will be just fantastic I hope I will see more product from this shadow series

The media could not be loaded. As a chef trained and in the industry a knife is a best friend, the shadow series is the first time I’ve brought from dalstrong and it has blown me out the water perfectly sharped and the handle felt perfect better than my g-7 global. Overall I’m very happy with the chefs knife gonna buy more knifes from dalstrong

The knife arrive very quickly, it was a gift for my husband has he already have one dalstrong black series, the knife is very well packaged, very luxurious, very comfortable to use and light, the one thing this time it wasn't sharp enough, so I contacted dalstrong and they will send another, amazing customer service!

It is a nice budget cheff knife.The handel is designed for a larger hand but grip is amazing even when wet.Blade has a nice sharpness but could be stronger. I have kept it sheathed when not using it, still i can see some dents for general use in the blade.

This is one of my first proper knives and getting this also made me get a Whetstone to properly sharpen this blade. It already is very sharp out of the box and cuts well. Keeping up with sharpening with a whetstone is required as with all knives and while the learning process may make you remove a bit of the black on the knife, but once you know how to properly sharpen, it's a calming process in a way.

Amazing boning knife. Flexi blade, wonderfully shape. Easy to hold feels very natural, husband is unbelievably happy with it. As a butcher he’s used a lot of different brands and he insisted this one of the best.To the guy who said it was great for carving thank you for trying to answer my question I don’t think you quite understood what I was asking but I appreciate the enthusiasm
