Herbs and spices are very good and add a lot of nutrition and flavor to food dishes. I make a brothy egg and potato soup and add this paprika, it's so good and beautiful color too.

This is what I would expect from store brand paprika. Not too spicy but has a lot of color. Good for an accent but not a main flavor. No smoked aspect. I do think it could have more taste to it but it was a good value so I can't complain.
