I was hesitant to buy this because, even though the price is good, I was worried about buying something "junky." I bought this as a surprise as one of the birthday gifts for my husband. He was in the unfortunate habit of hanging his baseball caps on door knobs, which would almost always get knocked off by accident. I saw the other types of cap holders, and I didn't want the ones (with questionable acrylic material that might crack) that stack vertically or horizontally and have to take up space on a shelf. So the issue was to find something easy to use (for men who don't want to take the time to fiddle with something that might or might not work on a shelf). This one is perfect because it lays flat against the closet door and looks pretty great with all his baseball caps displayed. I was a little worried that it might not work well with those caps that don't have the hole (adjustable strap caps) in the back, but the hard plastic flaps act like a hook and hold quite well even those caps without a hole. This system holds up to 16 caps (8 on each vertical strap), which is generous, yet doesn't take a lot of space. This unit was SO EASY to set up. I did it in the dark, which took less than 5 minutes. My husband was delighted to see a special unit hidden in the closet just for his caps, and he likes being able to view them all at once and finding easily which one he wants. No more random caps hanging on doorknobs! If you like vertical storage with easy-on, easy-off organization for baseball caps, and one that does not break the bank, PLEASE try this one. It's a winner!

Better design, quality and function than expected! These storage and organizer straps work great for hats. The straps were easy to hang over and under our son’s closet door. The size was perfect and they are designed to hold 8 baseball hats each. However, if you want to display the hats I would suggest only hanging 5 on each. I was concerned that each hat “holder” would be flimsy and wouldn’t hold each hat up, but each older is designed to easily be pulled down and once the cap is placed on it, it holds it in place. Be careful to measure the door before purchasing because our home was built in 1936 and all the interior doors are original. We also live in Florida so our doors “swell” in the summer, therefore, with these, even hanging flush over the closet door, the door will not close completely. (The joys of owning a 90 year old home!) However, come December the door will fully close.

It is as described and easy to install. Holds the hats well. Looks good on the back of a door.

This hat holder is fits a bunch of hats due to the fact that it is the full length of our door. It's very sturdy, doesn't fall off at all. It keeps the shape of the hats with no problem and it looks great too!

These weren’t long enough for my doors. I had to nail them to the wall. It works okay, a little flimsy.
