CIH EXAM Equations simply explained and with examples (The Certified Occupational and Environmental Health Professional by Dr. Daniel Farcas CIH, CSP, CHMM)

I've seen mixed reviews about this book but I don't understand it, I thought it was really helpful. Goes over every equation on the CIH exam equation sheet individually. I also marked the book up with other examples to help me better understand each equation. I happened to bump into Dr. Farcas at AIHce this Summer in Nashville in the expo hall and thanked him for putting this together, I found it really helpful.

This book arrived Just in Time to get over the hurdle of CIH exam testing. The book, which can be used for reference by any IH and at any level, was really strong in two major areas. First, it's extremely straightforward because it links the ABIH equation sheet directly to the math by listing the page numbers for easy cross-reference. No other literature sources that I'm aware of have taken that simple but clever approach. Second, it's crystal clear about spelling out which units of measure are needed to start each problem. If the units are wrong, you'll never get to the solution. There is nothing at all to dislike about this product...it's the polar opposite!

The media could not be loaded. I purchased this as a supplement to a CIH prep course I was taking. The prep course didn’t cover every equation and I needed all of them explained. This book has all of the equations explained along with ONE example for each. I have used it several times already for studying and am glad I purchased it. The cost was reasonable compared to other CIH prep material.

This is an excellent resource for someone whom is looking for a review of the basic equations for the CIH exam.

This was a great study resource to prepare for (and ultimately pass) the CIH exam! Also recommend the CSP reference books available from this author, as they also helped me to recently pass the CSP exam.

I just passed the CIH exam and I would NOT have been able to do it without this book. Absolutely worth the investment.Easy to understand, very clear, and definitely worth it.

could have provided sample questions where use of the formula would be appropriate. The book is supposed to be a CIH test prep not just showing equations from the ABIH equation sheet. could have provided more details in the solutions (as in showing every step). It may be marginally helpful, but if you already know how to use the equations, just practice practice and do more practicing.
