Shimano PD-RS500 SPD-SL Road Pedal

Great value as the cleats alone are £15, work just as well as the top end £200 odd dura ace and look good. Well made and usual shimano quality. Ease of clipping in is better than higher priced ones. Realistically the weight saving of the higher end ones is not really worth the money,

My first venture into Clippless pedals wasn’t great based on the fact they where too stiff to eject out of and I think forcing the foot out of the pedal damaged my knee .I have been using normal pedals with toe clips and this has been fine however on a new racing bike they look naff so after some investigation I found these Shimano RS500 pedal and they are great with easy ejection and being Shimano the pedals come with a set of cleats good value and I would recommend.

As a road cyclist I have these fitted to an indoor spin bike as I prefer using the SPD-SL system to the cage and strap setup that some spin bikes use. Easy to install and I’ve had no issues whatsoever and the same goes for the supplied yellow cleats too. All good.

Bought these months ago and they’re great, works with yellow/blue/red cleats, great value for money.

These are the best pedals I have found amd fit all my bikes, cycle shoes and have now purchased my third set. They have great adjustability and are comfortable and knee, leg, form stays in alignment. Great product

Easy to install and solid build for the price.

I bought them for my girlfriend. It was the first time that she used pedals with clips and it was a good choice. They are really sturdy and you can adjust them easily so they unclip easily. Bonus: they come with the Shimano SMH-11 cleats!
