Happy with product. Honest Review
There are so many mixed reviews on these type of cages, so I wanted to leave my honest review and help clear things up for others. 1. Concerns about product arriving damaged: mine arrived with no damage. The packaging was pretty good to protect it. It shipped all the way from California to Pennsylvania with no damage. I believe the products that arrive damaged are more related to the shipper and how well they care for the package during shipping rather than the seller or product itself. 2. Quality for Price: many people are complaining about the quality, however let’s put this in perspective. You are paying $200 (give or take). The quality was as I would expect for this price. You can’t even buy a couple boards at Lowe’s for that price anymore so I wasn’t expecting some high end hard wood product with perfect paint. And let’s Be honest, it’s a rabbit cage-it will be messed up anyway in a few days. I would also never expect this caliber of product to withstand any kind of weather and am using this cage inside our horse barn out of the weather. Quality for price is all in the perspective of the purchaser. If you want high end you will need to pay high end prices or pay hundreds for the materials and build one yourself. I paid $100 for a plastic and wire cage so I didn’t think this was a bad price for a light weight wooden one with pull outs. 3. Assembly: personally I felt assembly was easy, but I’ve built many things over the years. I gathered the appropriate tools and took my time. I used a TINY drill bit to help put the latches on but other than that, I used a Phillips hand screwdriver and took my time to ensure that I didn’t damage the cage putting it together. I allowed myself a couple hours to make sure I didn’t rush and damage it. 4. Sturdiness: this cage is NOT for big full size 12-15 lbs rabbits. This is for dwarf/mini/small size rabbits. The dimensions are listed in the description and clearly anyone with a large rabbit (we have large English Lops in addition to mini lops and lion heads) should know this cage isn’t big enough for a large breed rabbit. Large rabbits require special cages. We purchase this for two small non breeding lion head pets that we rescued who we leave free range a lot in our closed barn. For mini/dwarfs, this would allow enough room for 1-2. Any rabbit should be given time outside of their cage for exercise. Cage is sturdy and does not rock. Rabbits chew EVERYTHING so I’m sure I will have to replace parts as needed and reinforce areas but this is no different than any other cage including the plastic ones they chew through. It’s actually very cute looking. Cleaning: the rabbits we are putting on this are litter trained so cleaning is pretty simple for us. However they are rabbits and they are still messy so I think the pull out trays are great to wipe down. Over all I would buy this again to get them out of a small one story plastic and wire cage. I searched the internet for days and all of these type of cages are pretty much all the same quality (just a different brand slapped on them) This one was the best price I could find. Another reason I chose this one, I liked the plastic trays rather than the metal tray inserts as the metal rusts and deteriorates. If you have been searching and were like me, can’t decide on what brand- I definitely don’t regret this decision. My only other option was to pay a lot more and have a custom one built or make my husband build another hutch.

Not Bad
Just received and assembled this rabbit hutch. I plan on using it for two mini lops, it seems to be the right size. The quality of the roof could be better, I’d love it if it were just wood instead of an asphalt-type substance. The small bits of black gravel fall off rather easily. I found the instructions pretty easy to follow. Did require a power drill. Had to add a couple extra screws from my own collection, to make it sufficiently sturdy (at least, sturdy enough for my comfort). Other than that, pretty good hutch for the money. Wood is soft, hopefully that won’t be too much of a problem. Plan on lining with something to hopefully make cleanup easier/prevent spills of bedding/hay. Will update on how cleaning goes. Overall satisfied with my purchase.

Great Rabbit Hutch.
I did have a little trouble actually receiving the product. But that was not on the company as it got lost in the mail. They instantly sent me a new Hutch with no problems. Even helped me with tracking the new shipment. The assembly was a little difficult would recommend using a drill if possible but it can be done with a simple screwdriver just a little harder. The pull out drawers make for easy cleaning as well. This product is very sturdy I have a pretty fat bun bun and she hops and jumps around just fine in it. The nesting area is huge and she loves sleeping in it. All in all it is a great product. Would not recommend using bedding in the bottom portion of Hutch. Bedding trays are not deep enough.

my guinea pig is happy!
I love this hutch! My guinea pig has been in different places in my house from the bedroom to bathroom, to hallway to even the garage with heater or air conditioner..(not my idea!) because my husband didn't want the guinea pig inside the house. we finally found a great place for her. I was nervous at first because i didn't know if she was going to be safe or comfortable. we keep the hutch outside. My piggy loves the house. is big for her, most of the time she stays in the lower level only. She seems to be more active and happy. It doesn't get too hot or cold, even on very hot days, I only put a cooler during the morning and it felt comfortable; and in the afternoon it wasn't hot. It also protects her from the rain and other animals. I am glad I got a hutch that is all covered instead of just one part. It is also very pretty. I keep it outside in a small patio in front of the house and I received a lot of compliments. I like that people pay attention to my guinea pig now, before the kids wouldn't play with her anymore, now even the kids from the neighborhood stop by to look at her. only thing that was a little bit challenging is cleaning the tray since it is not too deep and you can't put too much bedding because it will fall when you want to clean it. I still love it. I would definitively buy it again. I am not sure how good is going to be in the winter in Chicago.. although some reviews from people from Michigan said they kept their bunny outside during the winter. I probably will move her inside when it gets very cold but for now we are really enjoying it.

Nice cage, except for the bedding trays.
The cage was easy to put up and the directions were clear enough. Not the best quality wood, but about what I would expect for the price. As far as cleaning the cage for a rabbit, not good at all. A very thin layer of bedding fits in the bottom trays, if you put more it is just going to bunch up. Even cleaning without moving the trays will be a great task and a big pain in the ass. As far as size, I have a medium size rabbit and he fits well in it. He has much more room to move around in. For the 2nd story, I think I am going to have to cut the hole a little bigger for him, but that should be easy enough to do. I wouldn’t buy this cage again if had the chance, only because of the cleaning part. If you have a rabbit, you know how often you have to clean the cage. If the trays were deeper, this would be a good cage.
