It’s an amazing little device! I can hear clearly again!
This thing is freakin amazing. Wish I knew of it sooner. I was having terrible clogging of the ears, especially in the winter months. During my sleep, depending on what ear I was sleeping on, I would wake up and not be able to hear out of that ear. But let me back up a bit...Sticking things in my ear gives me really high anxiety so I’ve never used Q-tips because of the warnings that those push wax further into the ear. I would just use my finger with a little bit of tissue. So all this time wax had been building up in my ear to the point where it was completely blocking my canal and laying down on my ear only made it worse and the wax would get pushed together to where I couldn’t hear. It was awful. I began to get desperate and have my partner try and look into my ear and use a Q-tip to try and get something out. But that did not work as the wax was beyond the point of something as big as a Q-tip working. I then ordered one of those ear washing kits you can use to basically spray out your ear using water and a peroxide like solution. It comes with a little attachment you hook to a spray bottle that fits in your ear. Again, really anxious about using it but being so desperate I gave it all my courage. It’s quite an uncomfortable experience tho, you have to really make sure the water is warm. The sensation is like getting water in your ear while swimming and then added noise as if there was rushing water right on your ear drum. Super awkward. It sort of worked. I mean By sort of... it took out small pieces of the wax out. It gave me some relief, but not for long. Once again it was back to the same. I thought I’d give Amazon another search to see if there were better tools to try and get the wax out of my ear. I was really trying to avoid not having to go to a doctor to get it removed. I was lucky to find this gem of a product, it looked promising being able to see what’s in your ear with with a camera. I had some hesitation when I first unboxed it and connected it to my phone. I’m not one for biology like things like what’s in your ear, I don’t want to look, On top of expecting the worse. I gave my ear a few looks and it wasn’t too bad, some white looking wax build up. I thought I should be able to get that out. I put it away as it was enough for me for that day. Of course once again I woke up with one ear completely blocked. I though then I really needed to give this thing a try. To help loosen the wax a bit I used some peroxide drops I found at Walgreens and put them in my ears and jumped into a hot shower. I let the water hit my ears and the steam build up a bit. Once I was out I grabbed the little scope, launched the app, and started looking into my ears. I could see the wax really well and it was somewhat loose and gooey, yuk. I attached one of the little adapters to the scope. It looks like a really tiny spoon. I then began to go really really slowly to see if I could scoop the wax. It took some practice, with orientation of your hand and your phone and it’s just tricky. But I began to have some luck. I was getting small chunks out. This began to give me hope so I was a little more at ease and confident that if I go slow and take my time I won’t hurt my ears at all. So once I got going it was all good things from there, I began to get BIG globs out, and holy cow it was just like some promo videos I saw once of people getting out big chunks of wax. It was gross but fascinating. I was so ecstatic once I got it all out, I could hear so much better and my tinnitus / ear ringing was lowered, I could sleep on my side and not have my ears completely blocked when I woke up anymore! What a great device. I’m going to use it often and recommend it to anyone with a little patience and some dexterity. It’s a true hear savor!

Great product for piece of mind or to let you know you need to see Doctor
I love this product. It allows me to check my ears or my loved one’s ears with ease. The battery life is great and it is very user friendly. It connects to my phone with no problems and allows me to see inside my ear on my phone screen. It also allows me to make a video in case I need to show the Doctor. It is very easy to clean and as you can see it gives a clear picture/video of the ear canal. I know it may look like an icky picture to some but I wanted you all to see the clarity. I definitely recommend buying this product especially if you have little ones.

Great view of ear, easy to use, great value
For a very reasonable price, this product has fulfilled all my expectations and more. In the past, cleaning my own ears was a very hit or miss process, usually without good results. With any decent otoscope, I can now be successful because I can see the ongoing results. This otoscope is great because it lets you look at your own ears on your smart phone. Getting that connection to work was straightforward. Inserting the scope into my ears was easy. It does take a little practice to get used to doing this. I had to learn how to push sideways on the side of the ear while inserted to get the scope to look straight at the eardrum. Also, you have to wait a moment or two for the device to focus in on the target, but once it does that, the view is remarkable (speaking as a non-professional).The scope comes with picks for extracting wax, but I was a bit afraid to try that, so I've just been using the tool in conjunction with ear wash products.Great product! It provides such an awesome view into your ear that I've been recommending it to all my friends and relatives. My wife and I wish we had this while we were raising our kids.

Wouldn't work with needed app.
I charged the device. Downloaded the app needed to use. I couldn't get the device to work with the app. I don't know if the device was defective or it was the app. I made sure I did everything right. After reading the reviews for the app, I decided to return the device.

App ok, but may have ads
The app was removed from the Android app store, but it is back. When it first starts, the app has ads in it, and you need to enter a code from a card in the box in order to get rid of the ads. But this code is limited to THREE installations, so if you change or reset phones, you may have to put up with ads.The device itself works well enough, and the pictures are good enough to see what's in your ear and where any ear wax is, as well as the state of your eardrum. Just remember that it focuses on what's about 1" from the lens, and things further or closer will be blurry, so move it into and out of your ear to focus.I'd avoid the add-on tools, as they are too rough for inside the ear.

Easy to Use!
Very easy to set up and easy to use. I am a RN and bought this otoscope to help my 92 year old dad why his ears are clogged. Pictures speak volumes rather than words. Now he is patient when I show him his ears, the wax build up and why he needs to lay flat for 20 minutes for the ear medication to work.

Make them automatically hook to Wi-Fi anywhere they’re at or Internet, both automatically
I got it it hooked up to the Internet once I haven’t been able to get it to hook up since it’s too late to send it back these products that hooked to the Internet they need to be fixed a lot better instead of having to go through a lot of trouble just to get them hooked up they should be hooked up automatically Lotta people don’t know all about these electronic systems things like that. Scope should’ve hooked up automatically, but no, you go through a lot of stuff and it doesn’t read too good so to me it’s a worthless piece of equipment. To improve it, set it up to where it will hook up automatically when there is the Internet close should be hooked up to Wi-Fi or wherever there is anywhere, but most people will use them in their home.
