At first I was put off by the fact that there was no protective covering as advertised, but it was so thin I couldn't see it. The tape trick works, just put a piece of scotch tape on one edge and pull, and it comes right off. The first piece I installed went a little rough, so I took it off and let it rest a few minutes without the backing on it. When I tried again, it went on much easier. Contrary to intuition (and maybe their instructions) I found it went on much easier if I took the backing off entirely first. I then positioned it side to side where I wanted to start, then just worked from the center out to each side an inch or so at a time, and it went very smoothly. The sticky surface is easy to pull back off and reposition, but doesn't feel like it will fall off either. Here you can see we didn't have an easy way to downlight under our bar area, so I used a light strip to uplight, and the mirrored contact paper reflects it back down so the counter is much brighter than it was.

It is a cool product, no doubt. But, it came rolled so tightly that when I first used it on my cutter, it bubbled up from the backer paper. I also didn't realize it had a clear film covering the chrome side, to protect it from scratching. Makes sense but caught me off guard. I didn't buy this to be a 'mirror', as it'll never be that. But it is shiny! Overall, I'm satisfied and I'd likely but it again.

This film is very coarse and will not reflect light well. It's just like gray sheets. very disappointed!

Whatever it’s showing in the picture it’s not at all true. I put it to my wall and thought after taking out the film it will look good . But after removing the film it is nt at all like a mirror.And I can’t remove the sticker cause it can damage the wall.
