Saw this particular device being used by Tanya from “My Forking Life.” And while not one to fall into sales gimmicks. I researched what I was about to purchase. Admittedly, I’m much tougher than consumer reports. I was fairly impressed that this was a Phillips product and was rather awesome at fat removal. I’ve made panko shrimp that is absolutely great tasting simply following a recipe. And chicken. Controls are easy to use and clean up by hand washing rather easy too. And heck, fits into dishwasher quite well. Well engineered product! Learned to use “holed” parchment paper for even faster clean up. Sorry reservations are now needed at my place.

I don't know much about air fryers, but what I have tried with this one has made me a fan. It does what it is designed to do. I have tried it with frozen food, reheating food and cooking fresh food from scratch and it has done very well. 4/16/24: I am coming back to say that I am more of a fan than ever. This is easy to take care of, whether you hand wash or put it in the dishwasher. It continues to pleasantly surprise me with perfectly cooked food that would have needed more time and mess using tradition, cooking methods.

I have only had this air fryer for 2 weeks and have already cooked french fries, chicken, steak, zucchini fries, salmon, churros, and lumpia and everything has turned out amazing. It may run a little hot because I usually check the food 2 minutes before the recipe calls for and it’s already done. Easy to clean but there are about 4 parts to clean every time. Also many recipes call for 390 or 360 degrees but this model only offers the standard 25 degree increments (350, 375, 400 etc) so I use the closest lower temp. Finally, although I didn’t want a huge airfyer, I kind of wish I had bought the bigger one because the capacity of this one is for 1-2 people. I bought the accessory to create another tier but not much fits beneath it. Still, rating 5 stars because all the food turns out awesome.

When my friend introduced me to airfryer, I have doubts about how it works or will it be dangerous to cook with it. Then on my birthday, she bought one for me as gift. I finally decided to try it. With her help for the first time, I found out it’s so easy to use and so easy to clean. I started using it every week. I make chicken wings, lamb chops ( I can’t stand lamb before. After I learned to marinate with cumin and other spices then airfry. They come out like lollipops.) Delicious! I don’t need to add any oil to both meats at all. I also put fish tofu in it. They come out to be a delicious appetizer, no seasoning needed at all. I also take raw cashew nuts to airfry for snack or sprinkle on salad or on Asian stir fry. I slice Japanese pumpkin add a little oil and salt then airfry it. Cauliflower is great in airfry too. Too many things you can do with it. I can’t go without this little appliance now.

This is a perfect air fryer for our kitchen. Replaced an older model that was too large and difficult to clean. This model is compact, attractive and very easy to clean. Large enough for our two person household. Easy to use and without too many bells and whistles so not too complicated. So a perfect addition to our kitchen.

I purchased this because I saw it on Americas Test Kitchen and was recommended by them. They were right. This thing is EXCELLENT !! So far I cooked chicken, fish, french fries and onion rings and they have never tasted better.I put a whole chicken in it and it came out juicy and crispy skin, without the fat. Frozen onion rings & french fries were crispy on the outside and soft & fluffy inside. Fish, I cooked Cod, it was fantastic. Cleanup is pretty easy. It all just wipes off clean. I have not tried to put it into dishwasher even though it says you can. I recommend this to everyone.

After one use, I find this easy to use. However, the recipe book is poorly organized and does not have enough basic information/principles on air frying types of food, and does not offer complete meal recipes. I also wasted much too much time trying to use the 40% code offered for purchasing accessories if one registers only to eventually find after numerous calls that the discount code cannot be used at online retailers. It can only be used on the Philips online site where the accessory I wanted is out of stock for about four months.

LOVE this air fryer, I might marry it, had no idea how fast and easy and GOOD this makes everything! even fish I've always grilled outside is far better in the air fryer, crispy outside juicy inside, can't believe it and so little cleanup it's fantastic, I got this model HD9741, a friend did all the research she was right this one is perfect...I always forget the low fat part of it too but that's huge!

Satisfied with the purchase. Starting learning some recipes in order to get it used more frequently. The only downside for me is the sound is a bit loud when it is working.

overall is good but it’s not easy to clean

I like this fryer very much. I use it to make sweet and sour meat and french fries. It is very easy to operate and can quickly complete a food preparation. It is also very clean and free of oil fumes, which is great!

ive had my air fryer for about a month i dont use anything else to cook with. this is the best cooking apparatus i have ever owned you wont be disappointed , it cooks the food amazingly Dave
