Very Pleased!
Very pleased with this mat. I am involved with Amateur Radio so I find myself working with electrical components and occasionally soldering wires. This mat is perfect for protecting my workbench and assembling parts on. Hardest part of this purchase was deciding on what size to order.

Very helpful seld-healing cutting matt.
This matt, coupled with a rotary cutter and some Omnigrid rulers makes measuring and cutting fabric so much easier than trying to cut patterns out with scissors. You can cut several pieces at a time, so cutting quilt pieces is so much easier using these tools. It is self-healing, saves your work table from cuts and scratches and extends the life of your rotary blades.It has a smooth surface that is marked and ruled with yellow measurement lines to make measuring and cutting the right size easier, and plain green with no lines on the reverse side. It can be used on either side. I'm very happy with this self-healing matt.

It works
This is the 3rd cutting mat I've had, second Olaf. It only gets 4 stars because it doesn't have the same feel as the previous one which I really liked and it lasted a long time. This one doesn't seem like it will last as well. I'm finding it is not as self healing as the previous one I had even though I'm using the same cutting blades - Olaf.
