Multi use!
So I'm probably not the best reviewer for these, as I do not use them as intended. I can say they are nice. High quality and very strong. I use them to secure the hay net to the round feeder, year round. With animal tugging on them daily and haven't broken like the brass ones.

Needed a place to hang my keys

Not a 2.5", did not have a breakaway screw
While I love the stainless look of this ring, it is definitely not a 2.5", it fits more like a 3" ring and the connection screw does not break away, we had to cover the bulls head and cut it off manually. Self pierce function and hinge both work, but I'll likely remove it and replace it with one of the proper size.
