i bought one many years ago, before i bought new ones this year, let me say the old one got some beating by falling from a second floor, fall in water, and the concealed system they got is perfect. Also i dropped by mistake from my moving car, my small dog used it as a chewing toy for some minutes ( before this one i lost 7 normal USBs to my crazy dog). but this old one still perfect and kicking. I order TWO new ones because this new ones got more storage capacity , my old one still working like new but its storage capacity is very low comparing to new ones, and love it!! also they are smaller in size comparing to the older versions which makes them more portable. same quality though. quality feeling of the product is high, excellent fabrication, fast USB port, overall yeah if you want something secure and that will long last better buy this one I use it specially for a stand alone operative system, i encrypted and also use it as storage, (YEAH im a Geek) so yeah guys if you looking for a secure portable waterproof this is one amazing option. 100/100 Recommended

Bought two of these to hold copies/scans of all our important documents, one in each of our hurricane evacuation backpacks for my spouse and myself. They have worked flawlessly so far, and their armor is impressive. A bit expensive, but perfect for this application.

Well after doing some searching, this is probably the most totally secure EDC flash drive you can get out there. Mainly because the interface components are truly, 100% airtight sealed in an all-metal container. Waterproof, dust proof, crush resistant, and drop resistant. In terms of physical integrity, I'd say this is the pinnacle of flash drives. There are some reviews of people snapping the stick off once the Aluminum cover is off, and at that point I'd say it's on you because once you "unsheathe" it it's effectively no different than any other plastic-housing flash drive. Put the sheathe back on and i'm sure you could use it as a lame bouncy ball and it would be fine. There are many other smaller/compact options that boast the same level of durability. We use a few at my work and they do seem like they can take a beating on top of being outright probably too small to begin with. But their fatal flaw, particularly for EDC, is that the USB interface is exposed, at least to some capacity. Even on the Flash Drives where the USB can be tucked into the stick it's still liable to succumb to water or dust. Electronically speaking i'd rate it as above average. Speeds seem to be par with the fairly high speed that was advertised and that's beyond good for me as a secure document device/offline password manager. Can't really vouch for doing media work with it because I don't. My two gripes with it are: -I do not understand the thought process behind the rubber "rings" at the top and bottom of the canister. Putting this in and taking it out of your pocket just once is enough to peel those suckers right off. I carry it on my key ring and end up tucking the contents of my ring into one of my pockets, so I opted to leave them off since it makes it more slim anyway. -The keyring hole is just borderline too small. I wanted to equip a Lucky Line cable ring to it in order to further secure the integrity of my EDC. Unfortunately the hole is milimeters too small, forcing me to settle for some chinesium equivalent to Lucky Line.

I use it to back up my pharmacy patient files every night. I use 7 of these. One for each night of the week. We write about 60G of data every day, not just an incremental backup and do a verification on the backup. It's been about a year and a half, data integrity is still good. No errors. Not the fastest usb key to write to, but slow and steady makes for reliability.

Best flash for those are searching rugged one. Really great. With nice led indicator. U can gobfor it but remember one thing u require all of patience for this as it comes from USA it requires min two or three weeks.

Clé USB 3.0 de bonne qualité (client de la marque, j'en possède deux de ce modèle). La clé est contenue dans un tube étanche (ne pas tenter en plongée, tout de même...) qui se visse et qui est muni de deux protections en caoutchouc aux extrémités. Je pense qu'elle peut tomber de quelques étages sans que la clé elle-même ne souffre...
