TRRS connection works perfectly on my Samsung. Audio quality is good and my headphone mic from Shure picks up my voice easily. Please make sure you have a TRRS connection and not a TRS connection or this extension cable will not work.

It's exactly what they claim it is. It does exactly what they say it will do. It does it very well, and it's exactly what I expected and hoped for.

Works great with my phone with case on!
Got another cord and couldnt get the plug into my phone due to the case. Got this one and it is wonderful with excellent sound quality. Used it for probably a year liked it so much we got the same one for my husband.

Great build quality nice sound unfortunately did not work with Apple earbuds
The cable is made nicely and the sheathing is really durable. Unfortunately this extension cable does not allow the use of the internal mic and I love the Apple earbuds nor the volume up or volume down buttons.But on the other hand the build quality is excellent as well as the metal barrels. Even though this does not work with trans manning the microphone or volume controls of the Apple earbuds I am going to keep this as it will be nice to add to my collection for more standard headphones.Unfortunately in my case it did not work for what was needed but like I said on the other hand great cable so I’m gonna keep it

Very well made with a thoughtful design. Looks good, too.
I used the 4ft /1.2m extension to connect a laptop and a PC to headphones/mic and it worked flawlessly. Sound quality was at it should be. The plugs cleanly snapped into place. The finger holds machined into the metal plugs made them easy to grasp. You can tell that care went into the machining of the plugs. I love the great flexibility of the cable and the protection that the braided covering will give it. The way the male plug necks down before the contacts begin is the difference between fitting or not fitting in many cases, including mine! In closing, you are getting what you pay for: a high performing well designed cable that you should enjoy a long time of use from.
